Great place to watch beautiful sunsets. Take the kids swimming, has Porta potty, not a big beach front but does have an area to enter water to swim. You can picnic here just sit by the water whatever your heart contents.

this is not Peacock Beach. This location and photo are from the park in Richmond at the junction of Route 197 and Route 24. It is on the Kennebec River with Swan Island across the water. Lovely spot! Peacock Beach is on Route 201 in Richmond on Pleasant Pond. I have no idea where this second photo of a waterfall is, but it is not at either of these locations.
