Nice enough in a rustic way. Not fancy but very adequate. 4 stars because of the woodsy setting and quaintness. Be aware that 3/4 of the tent sites are rather small and many are less level than I like. But, there are some lovely spots too.

Nice campground. Staff wonderful, very helpful and fun. Large site up top with beautiful fire pit. Bathrooms rustic and very clean. Lobster with fixings, cooked up for us, eaten fireside - incredibly delicious. Topped off with ice cream.

You get to select your lobster, from the lobster sea water holding tank. And select a time when it will be prepared for you. Prices are very economical compared to the West Coast. Steaming boiling pots are next to the office, and they will show you, if you wish, to see the lobster dropped into the cooking pots with your corn on the cob. Front office has atrium type dinning area. The have other seafood options on the menu, including steamed clams and a specialty clam chowder. They offer Passport America discounts

We found the Meadowbrook Camping Area to be quiet and guest-accommodating. They had full facilities that were well maintained. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared on site, including a full course, you pick'm lobster dinner, to be squirreled back to your RV or enjoyed in their cozy, upfront five table dinning room. We will not hesitate to enjoy this wonderful place whenever we again visit this area.

Quiet, wooded or open spots, near Maine's Midcoast and Islands. Historic places to visit. Campground has food service on site. We liked it !
