We got a gift card which included Pazzi Pizzeria as one of the restaurant groups, so we chose Pazzi Pizzeria as it seems more family friendly. Indeed, it was as if there were other families eating here. We found out that the feature pizza of the day was Peppperoni Pizza, which the waitress was a little embarrassed by as she claimed it is usually more exciting than that. However, it worked perfectly for us since our kids will eat that. We got the Burrata and Polpetta to start. My wife really enjoyed the Burrata and claimed it reminded her of our meal in Italy. The Polpetta was essentially a meatball with cheese and pasta sauce. It was tender and meaty. The sauce was balanced, and the dish could fill you up. We got the Diavola and added mushrooms. The neopolitan pizza had a light and airy crust with just the right support for the delicious ingredients. We really liked how the pizza was made and tasted. I snuck a piece of the Pepperoni Pizza, and it was excellent. No wonder my eldest ate 3 slices. To finish, we got the Panna Cotta and the Bombolini. Both were devoured quickly, which is an indication of how well Pazzi did overall. I was pleasantly surprised by our meal and look forward to coming back for more.
Love the fresh vibe of the place. Quality ingredients and the pizza is light, airy, and crisp. Service is friendly and menu options fill the range. The meatball sub was very good, sauce was tasty, and bun was light and not heavy.Food: 5/5
I met my friend at Pazzi for the first time. What a small, intimate spot with fantastic food. We only ordered pizza for lunch. But it was done so well, we will definitely be back to try something different. This time we tried the Rustica and CARNEVALE pizzas. Our server, Claire, was great! She was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We actually tried the two pizzas she recommended! The decor is fun and friendly. But the restaurant is easy to miss among Luca and others inside the main floor of The Oliver! Also, parking can be a challenge, especially downtown at lunch. Nonetheless, we want to try many other items on the menu, so we will be back. Thanks for a great first experience!
Pizza was delicious and cooked perfectly! No shortage of toppings either! I recommend getting the roasted garlic aioli if you’re someone who likes to dip their crust in something. Jen was super attentive and really helpful! We’ll definitely be back pictured here is the wild rooms and carnevale pizzas
A great place to share fresh pizza with friends or colleagues, especially on a beautiful sunny day. We received an attentive service. Update: we have been back several times since the posting of this review. We have tried so far the diavola a fav, carnevale, roma holiday, nothern exposure a second fav and the queen. The quality is consistent!
During our recent visit to Calgary we were looking for a pizza for dinner and decided to give a try to this fairly new place. Wow! What an excellent addition to the food scene of Calgary. I'll start by saying that the interior design is phenomenal. Overall color scheme is so appealing and there are so many neat details that you can't just stop looking at every little thing. We went with Northern Exposure for our pizza choices and one of the local beers. The crust is so good and the toppings were excellent. Our server recommended Tiramisu for desert and it was one of the best Tiramisu I've had. Everything in it was perfectly made. Our server was attentive and we had a great chat.Pazzi Pizzeria has made to my list of places to come back when in Calgary.
We had a really nice experience at this fairly new restaurant. Our waiter, a young man whose name I forgot was very pleasant, helpful and attentive. The two pizzas we tried was absolutely delicious. Will defintely recommend this place. Nice vibes overall with nicely spaced seating.
Very tasty pizza, friendly staff, great atmosphere! Thank you for your work! We were very glad to visit you!Food: 5/5
Dear Pazzi, Please bring back the evergreen pizza! After visiting once, I fell in love with pazzi pizzeria and returned not once but two more times. However my third visit was extremely disappointing. The first two times we had pazzi, me and my friends were blown away. My favourite quickly became the evergreen pizza which contains caramalized onions and sweet potato along with cheeses I forgot the name of. It was nothing like I’ve ever had and the combination was unflawed. The second time, I took new friends and the taste of the evergreen was just good as before, we also got the wild ‘rooms which came a close second and once again they were blown away. But by the third visit it was clear there were some changes made in the menu and possibly the recipe. We got the queen and wild’rooms because to my disappointment the evergreen was no longer on the menu, which I especially came for. You can also see a clear difference in the wild’rooms pizza in the second picture and then the third bottom. The taste and quality was not the same and everyone was disappointed, it was my friends first time here so it wasn’t like they were comparing to the last visits either. There were also more cuts in the slices this time, which isn’t a big deal but it is worth noting that the original size slices were more fulfilling and made this place standout. As a vegetarian, there are now only two veg options left on the menu, which will never come close to the evergreen. If you bring it back I will definitely come back and give another shot, I really hope you guys go back to your original quality and recipe as it was perfect the way it was!
Best pizza we've had in town! The ambiance and thoughtful decor is top notch, the level of service was unmatched, and the pizza was perfect. We had the Vancouver and Geno's Chicken and would highly recommend both. Also a flawless tiramisu to end the meal. We will be returning and it's an easy 5 star recommendation.Food: 5/5
