This is the best walk in clinic I’ve ever been to! I’ve seen a few different doctors at this clinic and all of them are truly amazing. They actually listen to my concerns without interruptions. Despite the fact that the doctors take their time to listen carefully to every patient, the wait time isn’t too long for walk in patients around 30 minutes on average. If I had to recommend one walk in clinic to my friends and family, it would definitely be Patients Network!
The doctors are amazing. It’s unfortunate that the receptionists are aren’t. After approaching the front desk, I barely got acknowledged. When I greeted them to see if they saw me, I was met with an eye roll and the receptionist went back to what she was doing. I can appreciate the clinic is busy but an ‘I’ll be with you in one moment’ would’ve been fine. This is just one example of the front desk team being rude. I actively avoid coming here unless I have to because the experiences with the front desk are consistently bad.
This is the best walk in clinic I have been so far in Toronto. The staff including receptionists and the doctor are polite and competent. During my first visit there I was heard by everyone and I thankfully got the prescription I really needed. I’ll certainly come back for future doctor appointments. The waiting time in the early afternoon was around 40 minutes to an your.
So glad I found this clinic! The administration is quite smooth and they always reply to emails quickly. The wait times for walk-in can be about an hour but that's expected given the location. I've met both Dr. Euverman and Dr. So and they have been nothing but patient and informative. Highly recommend them
I've debated posting this review for a while, mainly because of the fact that without this clinic I wouldn't have had free access to medical care over the last 6 months. Nevertheless my insurance has kicked in now so I think it's worth voicing the experiences I've had. Quite Frankly my view on medical care has always been that it's just as social as it is practical, but not once have I walked into this clinic and been treated like a human being. *Maybe* with the exception of a lovely doctor that treated a skin infection I had - but other than that most of the doctors in this facility have barely even looked me in the eye when speaking to me. I understand working as a doctor must be stressful especially as these doctors work in the nearby hospital too but I'd argue that if you fail to acknowledge that the person you're prescribing medications to is a PERSON with concerns and emotions then you're not doing your job properly. My mother, who also went to this clinic and has trouble with English has been cut off mid sentence multiple times, prescribed $700 sleep studies without the discussion of *why*, been refused a discussion on a separate symptom and we have both shared stories about how dismissive the doctor's are at this facility. It's like they want to get rid of you as soon as possible. The worst instance I had was with a blonde female doctor. I had gone to get my eyes checked as I was having trouble seeing and after referring me to an optometrist I figured I would ask her if she knew for how much longer this service would remain free. She decided to mention "that she wasn't happy with still having to treat non-OHIP patients for free post COVID" straight to my face a non-OHIP patient. Yes, because my privilege of being able to access medical care without going into credit card debt is such an inconvenience for her, a doctor that makes hundreds of thousands. It's really disappointing because quite frankly as someone who aspires to study medicine I could NEVER imagine treating my patients so dismissively and with such a superiority complex. Being a doctor is not just recieving symptoms and diagnosing - it's being supportive to your patients, explaining your theories to them, having some basic empathy to their situations. There's none of that here. EDIT: Just reiterating this one more time based on the reply to this review. My decision to return to the clinic/to bring my mother was one of quite frankly not having other options as the clinic was free. It was not a resemblance of good medical care. At no point did I critique the administrative decisions of this institution. There is no denying that staying open during COVID was a brave decision but again - that is not what this is about. This is about dismissive doctors, rude staff and a doctor feeling the need to imply to patient that their "visiting the clinic" inconveniences them. Quite frankly I believe that the response to this review skimming past all of those main issues to prove the point that is convenient to them is quite reflective of what the treatment at this place Is actually like‍ All the best.
New Review: I decided to revise my review because I was so impressed when I discovered that Dr. So have read my review and tried to explain to me the load pressure clinics are experiencing these days and walked me through the clinic website to use the waiting timing tool estimate in my future visits, which I greatly appreciated because it reflected how much he cares. Old Review: Waiting time is at leat 1.5 hours There is no enough space for waiting area. So primitive in terms of admin; doctor has to come to waiting area and search for you and there is no IT connection between receptionist and doctor but patient is the one who has has to take the referral documents from doctor and give it to the receptionist. Doctor is not allowed to listen to all your issues but limited by time.
I came here because I wanted to get the HPV vaccine. I arrived on 24 Nov and the doctor who gave me injection said that I can come in for my 2nd shot at any time and just told the front desk that I came for my 2nd HPV shot so I wouldn't have to wait in line . After 2 months I came back for the 2nd injection. I told the front desk that I was coming here for the 2nd injection but they told me to wait. Ok I waited but I just thought it would take about 5 minutes. Nope, they made me wait 30 minutes and then told me to wait another 30 minutes. I'm easygoing, I'd have definitely come earlier to wait if they hadn't told me I'd be given priority. I am very frustrated when I have to waste time without solving the problem when I have to return to work early. I still have to come back for the second injection in another day and I dont even know if the vaccine is still work well or not. In these difficult times making money is not easy, so don't waste each other's time. Hope you guys in this clinic don't lie anymore.
I called numerous times and finally left a voicemail. When it the call was returned, I was in a meeting and unable to pick up, all they said was to call back. Again, after a dozen attempts to get in contact with someone, no one has answered the phone. The doctors are great, but getting ahold of them for an appointment is impossible.
Walk in was great, wait time was about 40-60 minutes which is average in my experience, doctor Wong apologized for the long wait even tho it wasn’t that bad, she was empathetic with my symptoms, & referred me to an X-ray technician incase she missed anything:
I live close by and needed a walk in for an eye infection. Saw a wonderful doctor. Dr. Ng and was very pleased when i left. He listened and I didn't feel rushed. Will go back for sure
