Pasta Polo

My husband and I have been there before on our date night and it was good so we decided to go back again with my niece and nephew. This time around was not so good. Our calamari was under cooked and they offered to redo it. When it came back, it was still undercooked but a bit more edible. I was told when I ordered the special of the day that it had crab and lobster in a cream sauce. I asked if I could get the tomato sauce instead and they were accommodating. When I received my order, they got my sauce wrong and they offered to switch. I finally received my food and it was primary imitation crab meat. The kids got ice cream with their meals and my nephew asked for caramel syrup and got chocolate instead. Besides all that, the service was good and friendly.

A great simple , non pretentious gem. Served quickly and Cesar salad a 5/5. How did I not know of this hidden place. Reasonably riced but very good food.

I've been going to Pasta Polo on and off for the last 10 years or so. The food is reasonable, but the last few visits left a little to be desired. Serving staff was great, but the food felt slightly cold and bland. The Port Moody location has been consistently better overall. New outside covered patio, which should make for nice summer dining.

I have eaten at this place a few times and loved their carbonara and other dishes. So I decided to try to buy a tray for a party. The amount was generous and pricing was great! I asked to pay a little more for salad and they gave me a huge tray of salad, just what i needed! I spoke directly with the owner and he was welcoming and so nice! Great experience.

Went to pasta polo for first time tonight; I heard it was really good and they make the pasta fresh, not so much! The noodles were definitely not made from scratch, my meal was oily, and the server never smiled once! When we asked for the ice cream that comes with the kids meals; the server said she didn’t bring it as she’s also a mother, and would never give her child ice cream or sugar! What??? You’re judging my parenting? Lol I left a 15% tip..... and thought that was even generous! Will not go back!
