Story

Pasta Pantry started with a family. Like most families, this one was always on the go. Even though they were short on cooking time, they didn’t want to fall short on the quality of their family dinners.Over 25 years later, family still matters to us. Whoever you consider yours to be, they’re welcome here. We serve hot, delicious comfort food made right in our kitchen, and we do it fast so you can slow down.We’re a family. And when you come to Pasta Pantry, you’re one of us.

At Pasta Pantry we make our pastas and sauces from scratch daily. We offer Dine in/Take away,Catering & event planning. We are *Real Food *Real Fresh *Real Fast

I tried them for the all you can eat lunch special and wasn’t expecting much for $13…I was pleasantly surprised at how great the pasta was! What was even more surprising was that the pasta and gravy are all made in house. The pasta was cooked perfectly with a nice texture! My favourite was the mix of spicy Italian sausage and 4 cheese mixed together. The staff was super nice and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!
What a great restaurant! This was my first time in, although I did try them at the Bountiful Market they have a booth there. It was everything and more!! The lady welcomed us and explained how dine in and take in works. She also explained all the choices you can have. Great sized portions, great flavour and the pasta is so good.nnWe ordered the shells with bolognese and a side of meatballs. Linguine with the vegetable tomato sauce. Chicken parmigiana and the cheesy garlic bread!! It was so good I actually forgot to take pics of the food .nnFresh, hot and definitely made with love. The restaurant side is pretty big and would be great for a large family. Or lunch and dinner for two.nnThey also have a freezer with frozen food to take home and bake in the comfort of your own home. They also offer gluten free pasta. They are open from 11AM to 8PM all week long.
I came here for the first time.nUnfortunately wasn’t a good first impression.nI asked about my options for beef. There is none. Only mixed pork and beef.nnNow I went to get whatever is on the menu, apparently you get saggy spaghetti not so fresh with some vegetable sauce for 19$!!!!nI looked at their spaghetti dishes and didn’t like the look of those noodles.nI asked for fresh ones.nnWhen I got the first plate, the noodles were so hard.nSo wild. Just some hard spaghetti and sauce for 19$!!!! So crazy.nI added a piece of chicken it went up to 29$.nI think this needs to be revised so it makes sense like all other restaurantsnnSo I don’t leave hungry I ended up getting just sauce and Spaghetti Here’s what it looks like for 19$nnAfter first bites. I ordered spaghetti but got Linguine noodles ‍nThe sauce was more like soup from a can and not so much authentic pasta sauce like you like.nServed me hard noodles. Noodles in the trays were cut and saggy. Expensive. No beef option.nnI’m very disappointednEither I am too picky or just walk into the wrong places.
I want to start by saying this is a local small business that I think should always be supported - however I did have some concerns during my visit.nnThe staff are all high school aged - which is perfectly fine but the service was far too casual, and interrupted with private discussions and banter - I felt my order was interrupting their personal conversations.nnI ordered a beverage that needed a bottle opener however was forced to go back to the counter after I realized.nnIf bread is offered as part of the pasta meal order, it was not provided during the time of order.nnI think the owner was present tonight - as he opened the bottle for me when I got up to ask, and then he also must have notified no bread as he asked if we wanted any. I appreciate his kindness and good service.nnUpon leaving, there was a group of teens that entered the restaurant and blocked the entrance/exit. They seemed to only be there to chat with the employees.nnAnd I politely asked to sneak past them to leave, It was responded with rudeness and aggression. Now, their behaviournis not the responsibility of the establishment, however the establishment should be maintaining a safe environment and this did not lend towards that.nnOverall - I feel this dine in experience reminded me of a high school cafeteria, where the teenagers were left without teacher supervision and poor behaviour was the result.nnI’d still order online to support a local business in the park - but this review will hopefully spark management into better training and customer experience quality control.nnThanks
Had lunch at Pasta Pantry. Special was regular size with free refill.nWe don’t even finish the first plate. Generous portions.nI usually have the Italian sausage but enjoyed 3 meatballs today.nHave also had the chicken Parmesan and it is very gooey and good.nStaff super friendlynTables and seating fairly basic. So good for lunch but not really for a fancy supper date.
