Story

Seventy-five acres of natural paradise awaits you less than two hours north of Toronto in the heart of Georgian Bay Country, the world's largest freshwater archipelago-home to 30,000 islands. Settle into a spacious open or wooded site among windswept pines and nature at its finest. Feel the sun tickle your face and warm your soul by day, then gather by the fire and marvel at the "Near North" starry skies by night. ATV and nature trails are accessed directly from your site. Enjoy the heated pool, trampoline, mini golf, gift boutique, wagon rides, bingo, two nearby sandy beaches, playgrounds and more. Fishing and golfing are nearby. Keep in touch via free Wi-Fi. The KOA staff can reserve a cruise aboard the Island Queen or direct you to the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame. Get a dose of culture during the Festival of the Sound. Come see how this KOA "rocks!"

Stayed here twice. Smaller sites, less than ideal drainage when it's wet, relatively close to Hwy 400. Nice people, convenient overnight stop for travellers, seasonal sites close to ATV trails.

Stayed in a Cabin for a change. It's a nice clean park with clean bathrooms, reliable wifi and a heated pool. Some sites are better than others, some are abyssal in terms of size and privacy but the good sites are great and plentiful. Worth a visit. Would stay again in the future for sure.

We felt welcomed right from the moment we booked, your hospitality is outstanding, the planned activities for the kids, the wagon rides and just the whole family atmosphere were incredible!! The bathrooms are clean showers are hot, we will definitely be returning.

The trains are extremely noisy and they run all night with whistles blowing. Our site is 20 feet from a road the ATV's use to get to the main trail so it is noisy and absolutely no privacy. Site is small, just dirt and leaves, no grass. No water access for swimming or fishing. There is a pool but not centrally located. As ATVers we have stayed in other parks far more convenient and no trains. Also cheaper rates. People working in the park have been friendly. No need to use washrooms/showers so can't comment on them. There are also too many roads which cross over each over throughout the park and can make it dangerous for little children and pets as many go way too close to camp sites. Parry Sound itself is nice with a variety of shopping and eating places. Tim Horton's is only a short ride away.

Very nice KOA campground, well maintained, dog friendly, friendly staff, excellent location for ATVers. Some sites are too close to one another, others are more spacious. Boat Launch is approximately 5-8min walk with a small dock and beach, great spot to canoe and kayak from. Main Beach is a 25min- 30 min walk depending on fitness level on gravel shoulder. Not ideal for families to walk too, it is better to drive. Beach area has a few picnic tables, Sandy waterfront, topped off area with life guards. Off to the side is a nice dock to fish from. This camp ground also has a very nice pool area with a trampoline for small children to use. Great location to park your RV to go off and explore. Also 5 mins away from Oastler Provincial Park where you can cliff jump and also has a very nice dog beach. We had nice camp fires in the evening using wood that was dropped off to us. Very nice touch. Thanks.
