Fine camp, but Derek Rumball is a low-IQ hothead who likes to raise his voice and get mad because he has nothing better to do. He can yell but cannot put a thought together in the process. No wonder most of the campers are deaf if he likes to yell the way he does. Rude little man living in the woods.
This is a really nice technical track says the riders. It has some wide trails on one side and some narrow single track on the other side with rocks and jumps. There is space for camping as well. However there is no food on site, and they only have 2 outhouses which were full to the brim first thing Sunday with no toilet paper. So make sure to bring lots of food, drinks and TP. Nice track though to walk for a bystander. Also apparently there is a place you can swim at the top of the track! Lots of people went today!
What a wonderful and relaxing little family vacation spot. The owner is very kind, the view is beautiful and being able to spend the days out on the lake is refreshing. My family can not wait to go back again! PS Non-locals beware the mosquitoes can be very pesky in June!!!
An amazing facility and property to enjoy in the summer and year round. This property was purchased so Deaf children could have a summer camp experience like any other child would. Deaf, hard of hearing, deafened, CODAs and those wishing to learn ASL enjoy the summer camp sessions. Cottages are available for renting in the off season as is the Main Lodge. Very reasonable rates. Great for large church groups, Girl Guides, Scouts, Snowmobilers, Fishing enthusists! All monies collected go to sustaining camp and supporting programs for individuals with hearing loss. Wonderful staff! The camp also hosts a Motocamp in the summer and a Wednesday Night Ride on their groomed track.
Beautiful site especially when the weather's good. Had some great time during the 2019 ASL Spring retreat.
Amazing place to visit all year.
