The store owners were so helpful with optimizing the space in our condo. They narrowed down the fabric options to match the existing colours and combinations/configurations for our living and dining room. We love the quality of the furniture and we didn’t have to wait too long!
I stopped in at Parliament earlier tonight right as they were closing - I had seen a plant through the window I quickly wanted to grab as a gift. The lady was wonderful & helped me get the plant out of the window display so many shop assistants get so huffy these days if you're a last minute shopper. She didn't rush me and still answered my questions in a very informative way I also asked about a larger plant for future but will pop in when the plant person is in. I love finding owner-operated small businesses to support, and being new to the neighbourhood I'm very happy to have stumbled upon such a beautiful shop with such wonderful staff. I look forward to visiting again!
Shout out to my favourite local furniture and home décor store Parliament. I especially love running in last minute, where I know I can always find the perfect gift at a very reasonable price. I am obsessed with these coupe glasses pictured below! I have bought them for numerous other people now as they get compliments every time I use them. The large selection of Kermodi plants are also an easy go-to gift for all occasions. The staff is always so helpful and very kind. They don’t overdo it. Just the right amount of service for me. They understand their customers. Located in a heritage building in the trendy Main Street area, with gorgeous windows on all sides, the store is a treat to wander through. I don't know who makes the playlist, but I am always vibing to the music when I'm there, totally adds to the experience. Parking close-by is always easy to find.
Parliament Interiors has been my go-to place for classic-but-modern home furnishings since it opened more than 10 years ago. We constantly get compliments on how we've furnished and decorated our home and honestly, and I just smile and say, "it's all Parliament." I love how the owners are always one step ahead of the next trend: whether it's a splash of colour, a style of lamp, or a statement piece, like toss cushions or wall decor. I'm a huge believer in supporting local when I can, and it feels so good to buy from a Vancouver-based independent retailer, run by these three warm and welcoming Vancouverites.
We just ordered a new sectional, bed and rug as well as two beautiful side chairs from Parliament. We couldn’t be more thrilled …our house looks like a hotel lounge. I definitely recommend going to Parliament and have them help you with anything you need. They will help you with design and pick out fabric that suits your lifestyle and it will look amazing! We get so many compliments when we have guests over. I highly recommend them. Ask for Colette!
I had the pleasure of working with Parliament Interiors to furnish my new home and I couldn't have hoped for a better furniture buying experience. The staff are extremely knowledgable and practice a no-pressure sales culture. With their guidance, I now have a wonderful new sectional, occasional chair and area rug which are perfect for my space! Thank you to all at Parliament for your service and attention to detail!
I've loved this store for a long time and when we finally wanted to update a few things in our place, I knew this is where I'd go. I spoke with Craig and he gave me practical, yet beautiful ideas. Little touches that transformed a room. I do not have a designer's eye. Craig could look at a space and know exactly what was needed. Good prices too!
Every time I visit Parliament Interiors I know I’m going to see great products and receive superb customer service. Parliament offers quality, great style and unique pieces. As a home decor junkie, I love to go in, browse and see what’s happening in the design world. Visiting the store never disappoints! It’s a regular stop when I’m overtown.
Ordered a sectional couch and dining chairs from Parliament and couldn’t be happier! We received a lot of compliments as well. Colette was very helpful and knowledgeable with the products. I love how the products in the store are locally designed and made.
I have shopped for many furniture items and for designs ideas as well for my home and have always had the best service and talented staff find the piece that was just right , They are so careful with measurements that things fit it the space Delivery service and installing was effortless , they just delivered and my bed with installation was done prerfectly Delightful profession staff So impressed! I would give them 6 stars Love every thing I have purchase from them. Staff is so knowledgeable and you don't feel pressured but inspired to have an amazing space , Just love the whole vide , people, style of this special store
