Played here 2 years ago and it was terrible, I've had little hope to play it again but did. I can say that this course is now making an improvement. Carts were limited but a very easy course to walk, grounds were fairly hard from teeboxes to greens, and not all brown like it used too. Pros, great price and newly renovated clubhouse with bar. Also the staff were very helping in finding us a cart when none were available, and they communicated with us clearly and with a great attitude. I will be back
I played a round today mainly because all the other 9 hole courses are not available at the last minute. I didn't hold high expectation due to the 2.9 rating, but I was delighted. The staff is nice and polite. The grass is green not yellow. There are bold spots here and there, but the putting greens are in pretty good shape. The courses are long and challenge. I used drivers on 7 out of 9 holes. It is not Peel village, but for $25, it is a good place to spend 2.5 hours in mid October with 18 degree temperature. With more players playing there, hopefully the owner has more money to fix up the signs and add sands to the bunker : Definately will return next year.
$25 for a round. The building is clean with good washrooms. Bunkers are not kept. Even from the reds it's really long. Great for beginners or people who want to take their time when no one else is on the golf course. Would not play here when it's busy however.
It's not pretty but it's a real challenge even for good golfers. There is a creek running through most fairways, lots of water, long holes and small greens. This is a great place to hone your skills for $30 for when you play your regular 18 hole course.
Price gouging, no senior or jr rates. $28 for 9 Mon - Thursday is way too much for this place. If it doesn't rain its burned out. Members run the place. They will cut in front of you any given time, sometimes multiple times a round. Very rough condition Won't be going back
I have been playing the course for the past 10 years. Over the last year, there have been a lot of improvements made to the course - a brand new clubhouse, greener fairways and truer greens. There is more work to be done sand traps with sand is in the works, but it is becoming a better golf experience. I’d recommend checking out this unique longest 9 hole course which is very close to the city.
Very underrated golf course in the GTA. With the amount that courses are charging right now, this is a great course if you are just looking to get out and play a round. Greens and tee boxes have just been re-done and are in great shape, fairways still need some work but they will not take away from your game. Super long and challenging course and for the price is definitely worth the play. We also played 18 holes in under 3.5 hours on a Friday morning- unheard of. Right now there is not sand in the bunkers but there is a ton of work being done around the course so next year this is going to be a VERY hidden secret. Clubhouse staff were great and we will be back again to play for sure.
Lots of potential in this golf course but I have to say it looked a bit poorly maintained, no signage on the course. The score card had no map of the course and you would have to guess where you were hitting. Very easy to lose tons of balls if you are not an experienced golfer.
If you want to play 9 holes and you want to practice your driver this is the place. All bunkers are under repair, and it's a pretty basic facility, but other than that it's just fine.
Went and played twice yesterday, $30 for first round and $15 to replay. Fairways are pretty hard, greens were suprisingly nice for the most part. Big course with lots of yardage. It's the kind of place you hope more people go to play so they can invest in course improvements. Website states there's 44 bunkers, but they have no sand in them. Would love to see some improvements happening because the potential is there. Will return, but if course is the same or worse next season, I may stop making the drive.
