Parc Omega is amazing. Make sure you have your camera ready as there is so many amazing photos to take! This is a "game farm" or "safari" style zoo in which you drive your own vehicle through the park. There are two areas where you may get out to take photos and stretch your legs beyond the main gate. Don't worry, the animals can't get to you there. On your way into the park, stop at the gift shop and load up with snacks for the animals. The animals here have no fear of humans and will readily put their heads into your vehicle looking for food. Make sure the windows are no more than 3" down and locked. You will encounter many amazing animals, babies and adults, but know that animals like wolves/bears are kept behind fences. The last animals you will encounter on the way out is bison. This can be very intimidating as these animals are huge (1,000lbs) and can easily toss a vehicle over. The ones at Parc Omega are subdued, but you still have to take it slow and patient as they like to stand in front of your vehicle as you inch forward. Parc Omega is a must see attraction if you are going through this area of Quebec.

The most amazing place within easy driving distance to see animals! A truly fantastic experience. Oh and one bag of carrots per person is no where near enough. I recommend at least 9 bags of carrots. This is one park that I will definitely be bringing my two year old to again.

Really unique animal park where you can feed the wild life. Path was accessible with simple 2wd cars (in May). Telephoto lens on a camera would be nice for pictures as you can't leave your vehicle in most areas. Carrots weren't grossly expensive in the gift shop - $3/2lb of carrots. Go early because the carrots sold out fast and the animals get full and become less interested.

My family really enjoyed the park. We got to bring our own food and have a picnic. My children enjoyed playing inside downstairs with a little house, in the outside park and feeding carrots to the animals. We bought three bags, but should of bought more. I saw many families half the carrots, but my girls preferred the longer carrots because the didn't want animal drool on them...haha. This will place will become one of our yearly outings.

The only thing that would have made this a better trip is a 4x4 car. Some of the hills were a bit slick. Nothing that couldn't be handled but other drivers around were not as skilled perhaps. Animals were awesome. Sugar shack, although expensive, was also awesome. Carrot bags for sale at entrance and at lumberjack camp for $3. If it were advertised better we would have gotten more if we knew at the start. Staff was great, friendly. Maple whipped cream coffee at the sugar shack - win!
