Nice park for family outing. However in the evening or night, the lights are less and it's get dark. A nice cycle path and ample tables if you want to have a picnic with your family or loved ones. Overall a nice day spent.
Verdun is a town that does not lack public spaces, especially the long green stretches that run along the St-Lawrence. People who live in the town or don't have that long to drive use Turtle Wharf Park regularly, be it for walks along the river, bike rides along its very long and very spacious bicycle paths, as a picnic site with the family, for its petanque courts, or simply as a place to relax and watch the world go by.
The recent Construction of the pier allows you to admire the view of the river. Great view!
Really a great park with water splash for kids
From May until November this place has a pier you can hang out on, launch off to swim or just catch the positive vibes. We have been fortunate to see some beautiful sunsets and observe the waterfowl wildlife that is plentiful.
Beautiful place to walk, relax or to have meal.
Make sure to check your bill. The cashier is a thief! Added on 2 small extra items and then short changed me . Lol ... that's what I get for being so trusting . I just took the change, bill and put it away foolishly ,only checked the bill when I arrived home. This was not an error on her part. Every item on the bill was listed as "something du jour" 2 small sodas, 2 large poutine, 1 with extra cheese and it came up to $41.11. There were 2 additional small items ... she may have charged me for the air I was consuming, who knows. I had on a mask , so it should have been free! Thief!
Its one of many parcs stretched on verdun river area, often quit and good for biking and long walks.
Nice little deck with access to the St Laurent for swimming, kayaking, or canoeing. Would highly recommend, but go there early as it’s always quite busy.
Amazing walking trails and cycling paths
