Paradiso Italian Gelato

This is my favourite gelato spot ever!!! The flavours are so delicious and Mai the owner is the sweetest lady on the planet. She always greets me with the biggest smile and is so so welcoming. The location is right by Kits beach too so it’s perfect after a nice long walk by the water. 10/10!!!!

Very good gelato, but, perhaps more importantly, very good service! It said ‘open at 4pm’ on the door when Google said it opened at 3pm, which is when we showed up. The owner happened to come back from running errands at 3pm and graciously let us in and served us even though she wasn’t opening officially for another hour.

Great selection of both sorbet and gelato flavours. I got a scoop of blood orange and one of white chocolate raspberry and they were very tasty.

I don't tolerate sweet treats too well. I wanted to try one flavour as they could not provide information on sugar content. In 2021 you could sample the ice cream. In October 2022 there's no more sampling due to COVID. That's a ridiculous excuse. Greed and bad service.

Owners were friendly, lots of flavours. No tastings available. That's understandable, but the passionfruit and mixed berry sorbet were WAY too sweet and sour for the passionfruit. Almost like there was too much white sugar added in. Hopefully it was just a bad batch, but personally I'll stick to Italian owned gelato shops.

Blown away by the excellent service and the quality of gelato. Will be back !!! Highly recommend!!

The couple operating this store on the evening we attended were too cute. We tried coconut, very berry, chocolate and Ferraro Roche along with an iced matcha green tea. All were tasty. Will come again.

Fantastic spot. The owner gave me a sample of every flavour, she was so confident that I’d love them all and I did. Lemon is the best!
