The food was decent. Normal burgers and sandwiches. The waitress was attentive as well. The part that really got to us though was when the check came and we were told "cash only" and if you don't have cash then there is an ATM in the bar area. Luckily we had cash otherwise they would have most likely been costing us a transaction fee just to pay them. I personally would have considered that fee as leaving a tip since nowhere did it say cash only before the bill came. We checked the menu and on the way out. If you have cash and want a quick meal this should work for you. If not then there are plenty of other fine dining places to try.

Super cute little dive-type of bar in Galena. Lots of nice places down here, but none have the personality this place does. The staff is uber-friendly and conversational; the drinks are priced right; and the fare is solid bar food. Nothing amazing but consistent, hot, and definitely at the right price. Being a touring musician, this is the kind of joint I look for on the road: one that feels like home, a place where I can relax and enjoy the time I have. Don't skip it, folks.

Unfriendly servers, average food, outdated decor, decent sports viewing, and cash only.

Food was decent, staff was not. And it's CASH ONLY although we only found this out when we went to pay!

Walked in on Sunday around noon and the bartender told us to take a seat anywhere. There was 4 in my group, and every other table was taken. 15 minutes went by and we never had a server approach us. I tried several times to get one of their attention but was unsuccessful. We walked out and ate across the street at victory cafe.
