Great original music, with no cover! The pool table is always free (donations are appreciated for the upkeep). There is a sit down cocktail table... Ms. Pac-Man is still alive & playable! (Bring on the 80's in the glory that is!) The Cricket said 301....yes there is a dartboard, as well! * out of 10 people have a splendid evening &/or little to no morning. Bring on the Bloody Mary's!

So much fun! Every time we are in Galena, we end up at The Cornerstone. Great staff, music and new people to meet. Currently sitting here now 😀

Coming from northwest of Chicago, the Cornerstone is one of the places that made me feel close to home in a town I was unfamiliar with. Not only did it bring me a warm and welcoming feeling, the crowd of people it drew in were also a pleasure to be with... Great music, tasty drinks, free pool, and much more! It's definitely a must-check out place when visiting Galena! Cheers, From a HaPpY Customer :)

From Texas: Both Bartender were rude, charged us $10 for a corona and a mix drink and told us to stop harassing girls of which we have met at Gobbies--as we were talking good things in getting marry. Slimply, both bartenders were just prejudiced against Latinos color persons(like us) and were rude as I ask why such high price for to simple drinks which were more than the other bars especially when the band had stop and were going home. They said that it was because of the band--which we never heard, and said if i been to other Bars that charged lower of which I named the Galena main strip including Dubuque's bars, having no problems with us nor talking to any kind of ladies. I said that if I have put down a $20 bill that he would have charged us that price for to drinks--he agree. We left and told him to see us on facebook for a review. Overall, discrimination took place and advise other with ethic color background to stay clear from this place.
