We just moved to the neighborhood and thought we would try out local establishments. What an absolute delightful gentleman! It was pouring rain when I came in to pickup my pizza order. He walked me out to my vehicle with an umbrella! The pizzas were great too! Cooked perfectly and loaded with toppings! So glad we gave Papa Sam's a try! We will be ordering again! Forgot to take pictures before we started eating!
I ordered vegetarian pizzas from the Stittsville location. We are vegetarian due to religious reasons. When we got our pizza home and started eating them, we found a piece of meat in one of them. When we called to tell the owner and explained how upsetting this was, he said sorry, just take it out and quickly got off the phone. What is more upsetting than having the meat in our pizza, was the rudeness of the owner. He did not offer to fix the mistake, offer to make a new pizza or refund our money. We literally threw the remainder of the food in the garbage. In today's world of allergies and dietary restrictions, this is completely unacceptable especially in the restaurant industry. Zero stars!!!! Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian options but there is no guarantee that when you order vegetarian that it will be vegetarian. We found meat in our vegetarian pizza
Placed an order for a small pizza and chicken wings via UberEats. After the order was placed and accepted, the restaurant put an additional $4.00 on top of the cost AFTER. This was on top of the food, tips 18% because I wanted to support local, service fees and delivery fees. Tried to cancel the order but was charged for the food as per UE. UberEats didn't help either. I don't care as much for the $4 add-on except for the fact that it felt like a blindside. I've always recommended Papa Sam's because I like supporting local and their pizza was good. But after that, not anymore. Just be aware of the added cost.

Finally stopped by Papa Sam's after driving by a million times. It feels like going back in time to when things were simple, people were friendly, and service was personal. We ordered a large veggie pizza and a medium cheese pizza. The pizza was definitely loaded with plenty of cheese and the veggie pizza was the same with fresh tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and lots of green olives. It was like I was eating a Chicago style pizza each slice was heavy and to hold all this, the crust was light airy yet thick, tasted amazing! Will try again, thanks for the great pizza!
It is unclean and the ice cream are those ones that you can buy a tub at the grocery store, but more expensive for a full scoop and quality was poor not as fresh. It's not worth it, go elsewhere for ice cream.
Never have I been to a place where I have been blatantly disrespected. This place delivers the opposite of customer service. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a rude shop owner. I began by asking the measured size of each pizza. After being ignored twice, his reply came "What do you want them square?" Like he completely misunderstood and was being sarcastically rude. I then asked for a pizza to which his action was to walk away without saying anything. After him bickering to himself and another employee for a bit I had enough and left the store. What was your objective? It's like you saw me and didn't want to serve me from the moment I walked in. It was the first time I was going to try pizza from your establishment but quite honestly I will never be coming back.
The quality of the food is very good. The variety is awesome and their Pizza is second best in Ottawa in my opinion. Sam is a very nice man who cares about customers. He just needs more staff to shorten the klne ups
Great pizza! The crust is unreal! I will get the cheese sometimes and sometimes get a veggie! Both are awesome! The ingredients are always fresh! When we were on Birdstone we ordered all the time! Now I’ll pick up when passing! Great wheel! The service is great too!
