I have been buying Pane Vittoria since the original owners ,when they used to delivery the bread to houses . Every time Pane Vittoria gets a new owner it looses the quality once had , I guess yhey don`t get the right informations or they hire cheap non experience bread makers . I`m saying yhat this bread still one of the best out there . When my we go RV_camping for 4-5 weeks we used to buy 5-6 to take with us . Now after 2-3 days starts mould in the camper . Like I said the quality it`s not the same , but I can still put a way one all loaf of bread when it`s properly cooked . These new owners had no experience when they purchased the business , now it`s getting worse . This bread is not properly cooked .

I have been buying bread here for years every Sunday morning, however when I walked in last Sunday morning I noticed that the loaves on the counter were much smaller than usual. I asked the counter person what happened and she replied that because of the cold weather the dough didn't expand properly. I asked why that would suddenly be a factor, we often get much colder days without this happening. She replied that she didn't know but that despite the size difference the weight was the same so everything should be fine. So I purchased my usual two loaves sliced, but when I arrived home and opened the bag I noticed that the slices had not been cut cleanly and the dough appeared to be torn. The centre of the loaf appeared clumpy and undercooked and was totally lacking in salt; it was completely different than what they normally put out. Mistakes can happen, it's part of life, but when you fail to achieve the consistency that a loyal customer expects it's better not to serve a blatantly inferior product. A wiser choice would have been to simply tell customers the truth and produce proper batch at a later time, loyal customers like myself would understand. Normally, Pane Vittoria produces an excellent product, but when things go wrong it's imperative to handle these situations with honesty instead of lame excuses.
