It sad to said because this is the only bakery in East Hartford but for a bakery I would expect fresh bread and pastries but that is not the case here. They need to get a new manager or something.today I got bread at 8:30am and it wasn’t fresh and oatmeal it was cold like they didn’t even care to serve that to their customers.I hope they do some improvement or something because we need a real bakery in East Hartford.

Food was absolutely delicious, first time going, but definitely won't be my last. The young ladies working there were very nice and attentive, definitely looking forward to my next visit.
The first time I ate here, the Cubano sandwich was amazing, I went back yesterday, and the pan sobao was awesome and stood hot for a while, highly recommended I would definitely go back!
Sandwiches are good but for a bakery everything is over priced hopefully they work on there prices
Place has gone down hill since last time I visited. Bread is still good, sandwiches are sub par to say the least. I ordered a Cubano, no flavor, no pickles, swiss or mustard. What happened?
This place has gone down hill fast. Used to be a nice spot that I would frequent weekly. Sadly, as of late the service is extremely slow, the orders are incorrect, and much more importantly the sandwiches are simply lack luster. Bland, bland, bland. I was reluctant to leave this review but my last 3 experiences have been negative. It's unfortunate. I will stick with the New Britain location that is still good.
Awsome oatmeal mad that the girl that worked there quit 1 of my main reasons of going she made my days when I go there now its just a regular bakery.....
Aside from getting my order wrong the food was good, it use to be better though. The service however was not that great. The girl behind the counter had the music blasted, that upon taking my order she had to turn it off. Between the loud music, plexiglass shield, and the mask communication is a little hard. It was unfortunate that due to all those factors she got my order wrong but also through the process I felt rushed when ordering. Spanish is my second language so I tried to communicate with her but upon feeling rushed like I said I just spoke english. It would have been nice to get my pastries before getting my sandwiches but that’s fine, the second lady that having me all of my order was very nice and well mannered. Kinda wish my encounter was with her to begin with. Never the less I will continue to visit because I do enjoy the food !
I came here about a week ago and the lady who served me was amazing!! I don’t speak Spanish but the lady who was working spoke English and Spanish and was fluent in both. I love coming to the bakery. So I came back today and the lady who was working didn’t speak any Spanish and because I didn’t speak Spanish, she was rude the entire time I was here. I had to repeat everything I said four times and she got mad at me when she couldn’t understand what I was saying. The total came up to 19.11 and I gave her a 20 dollar bill and I told her to hold on because I had the change and she slammed her hands on the register after it opened and was mad I gave her the 11 cents. All she had to do was give me a dollar back. But she was trying to give me change back and I told her why are you giving me change back if I gave you the 11 cents. All I need is a dollar. And she went to the calculator because she thought I was wrong and once again started to give me change and I said no. That’s not what you’re supposed to give me back. I gave you 20.11 so you give me a dollar. It is not that hard and she went right back to the calculator and the. Finally gave me the dollar. Threw my dollar on the counter and walked away. I would come back here if there were another person working. I used to come to this bakery all the time with my grandfather and I had awesome memories here. This woman just made me hate coming here and never coming back again.
