Pacific Drycleaner

When I went there to drop off and pick up my clothes, the woman who worked there did not greet me. I gave her two receipts for two groups of order. She only gave me one order back and I thought she might combine the two orders so I asked her if she had given me everything. She then looked at the two receipts that I gave her and she said yes so I left. Then I remembered that I had previously dropped off a blue blazer but she did not return it to me. So I went back and asker her for it. My clothing was still on the counter the ones that I dropped off and she was chatting on the phone. She should have put away the customers' clothing immediately after she received them and not leave them on the counter. I asked for my blue blazer and then she went to the rotating rack and she swung the rack so quickly that it was impossible to discern which clothing was mine. I needed to stop her a few times and see if my blazer was there. We finally located it and I asked her if this blue blazer was one of the two receipts that I originally gave her at the beginning. She said yes, without apology. This means she had neglected to give me this order when I first came in which wasted my time. I checked my receipt and she put down 'dress' on the receipt for my skirt. So I told her and she asked to touch the material of my skirt and then she said that they charged the same price for the skirts and dresses. I did not believe her because the information on the receipt was not clear e.g. typos for the clothing types and the colors. Overall, she did not apologize for all her errors and she did not care about the customers' clothing. She could have simply matched the clothes with the receipts but she was unable to even do that. I would not let this place to handle any luxurious clothing.

Lost my pants! I dropped off two pair of uniform work pants. And when I went back to pick up they couldn’t find them! With No explanation why They did pay for me to order two new pair but the inconvenience of waiting for new pants and a different supplier is hugely inconvenient. I will never go back and do not trust this company with your items. You may never get them back.

Unreliable. I’ve used Pacific Dry Cleaners in the past with no issues. But today I went to drop off some clothes at 11am on a Saturday only to find them Closed. No sign on the door explaining why or “be right back”, etc. Ending up carrying my bag of clothes around town while running other errands.

I used this service 5-6 times and twice my husbands expensive shirts were ruined. First time they were able to fix the discoloration they had caused but the second time they used harsh chemicals and the design of the shirt started peeling off. Would not recommend this place to anyone who wants their expensive clothes dry cleaned because the staff doing the cleaning are not trained enough.

Took my down puffer coat here for dry cleaning and was concerned that the make up stains on the collar and sleeves wouldn’t come out, but the man working assured me that they’re typically a fairly easy fix for them.. well sure enough I got it back and it looks as good as brand new! Extremely happy with the service and will definitely return :

When I walked in, I was greeted by a very kind man asking what I needed done with my clothing. I told him two things, my shirts button had fallen off and I needed it replaced. Also, I had a jacket with a big stain on it that I couldn't remove myself. Within the next coming days I went back and saw that both issues were fixed! I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great service, excellent price, convenient location and most importantly getting the job done right!

I had a great experience with my dry cleaning. I know people can tend to be a bit nervous when trying out a new dryer cleaner and hoping there clothing is in good hands! However, with Pacific Dry Cleaners your garments are definitely in good hands. It’s a great location and friendly area! I’ve come in twice now and both times, I had a great experience. The gentleman sorry forgot his name! was very informative knew that if I wanted to sew this part, this would happen etc.. and listened to exactly what I wanted. Very reasonably priced and transparent with cost of service. They were also kind enough to accommodate the quick turnaround time I needed. Great attention to detail with the alterations. Highly recommend!

I’ve found this place to be disorganized, and lacking customer service and communication. My first visit they couldn’t find the second item in my order so I stood there waiting for some time. My second visit they hadn’t addressed one of the items in my order so I had to go back. Plus the seamstress tried to tell me I should be grateful for her cleaning one item thoroughly in a way I didn’t ask them to do nice to do it but don’t get upset with me on top of it. The third visit when I returned back there was still no clarity on that item. And I still haven’t gotten any response. Every visit has had something so in short I will be looking at alternative places in Yaletown. Its disappointing because I wanted to use this place!

Great dry cleaning for my two suits, iffy laundry for white dress shirts. Came back w black lint on it. Weave/texture of the shirt may have played a role, but I could have washed it better at home. Tough as location is convenient and pricing is fair. Wish the laundry was as good as the dry cleaning.
