PA Peterson Ice Cream

Great little local icecream parlour that also serves burgers and fries and other deep-fried goodies. Prices are more than fair and I'm actually surprised they haven't drastically increased their prices over the years. Last time I was here about 13 years ago a single burger was $2. Now it's $2.50. Can't beat these prices! A meal consisting of a double burger, fries, gravy and a Slurpee was only $6.50! I would attribute the burgers as same quality if not slightly better than a burger from a hockey or football stadium but a fraction of the cost. Icecream selection is great and of good quality and scoops are generous. Very comparable to 80 Flavours but lower in price. Only downside would be the poutine, fries and gravy are exceptional but the kraft single added to make it a poutine is a crime. Aside from the poutine faux pas, I would highly recommend this west end institution. They have been here for as long as I can remember and there's a simple reason why, affordable good eats and sweets.

Amazing little retro vibe food joint. Like stepping back in time which I love. Prices on their food is amazing! Not huge burgers but way bigger than anything you’d get at McDonald’s. Great selection of candy and frozen desserts. Definitely my go to place to grab a burger to pair with a cold beer after work. Support this awesome little local joint. CASH ONLY Which is awesome

Hello. I have heard good things about this restaurant and have been wanting to try it for a while now. I drove up to the door at 10:35am, on Thursday, June 30th, but the signed said "Sorry, We're Closed" even though on Google maps it shows open from 10am-9pm. If you are on holidays, it would be really nice for your customers if you posted up a sign indicating so. Thank you in advance for your response.

Ted and his shop have been around forever! Great place to take the kids in summer for ice cream and let's not forget the fries and gravy!

This place is always a go to if you want cheap food bin around for years they have the best fries and gravy and so much selection The ice cream is amazing and so much selection. cash only so make sure you bring your change but very cheap and delicious

Just ordered a burger and specifically said no mustard and asked for ketchup and relish. I get home and mustard and ketchup is on my burger. Should have checked before I left but now I can’t eat the burger. Probably won’t go back there.

Best french fries amd hard ice cream in town! My husband used to go here as a kid 30 years ago when he went to school across the street. Still the same owners just as good as it alway was you can get. A full meal for $5!!

It's on the westend of Edmonton. Great prices on ice cream and burgers and fries!! I highly recommend you should try them

Affordable and very tasty. The owners are very friendly, and their food is nice and affordable for fast food, of course. Ice cream is also so good here. No wonder this place has been open for 6 decades. Definetely recommend!
