Sweet Jesus

The topping combinations at Sweet Jesus are very exciting and tasty! It's just too bad that they're only on top and no filling. It becomes super messy and inevitably you'll have eaten all the scrumptious coating and be left with the generic soft serve beneath. For the price, it's a fun treat to try but I won't be a regular.

Oh boy, this place puts the soft in soft serve, the ice cream is so light and fluffy! Just so you know the large is very filling.

The store has a default 15% tip option that you have to decline and then manually type 0 in order to not leave a tip. I'm paying $6.50 for you to make me a "kids sized" ice cream and you expect a tip? On top of this, the server told me to "press okay 3 times to get through the menus." At first I thought nothing of it and just went through the menus as normal but later realized that she was trying to get me to accept the 15% top without noticing. Not a pleasant experience. The ice cream was good but certainly not worth the price compared to somewhere like marble slab and definitely not worth the 15% tip that some of the servers might try and trick you into.

Honestly - save your money. If you’re after a special treat, go anywhere else offering a dessert that’ll blow your mind, because this place will only blow your bank account. I do not understand what the hype for this place is about. After waiting in line for 30 minutes, we parted with $15 for 2 small much smaller than other companies idea of a small ice cream cups. Yes, the soft serve was smooth and creamy, and there was a lot of it! But the toppings were stale and messy. All the toppings were pressed onto the sides of the ice cream, so they end up falling off, dripping all over the place. The sauce was decoratively placed around the edges - pretty, but unable to taste it. Basically you get 2 mouthfuls that taste yummy, then you’re trying to get the toppings before they fall off onto the table, then eat the last 3/4 of plain boring vanilla soft serve, devoid of any flavour. Did it kill us? No. Was it great hanging out with my daughter for a treat? You bet! Will I go back again? Not unless they had a 50% off discount AND a BOGO free....and even then I would have to consider if the drive was worth it!

I had always assumed due to the large crowd around the place that it was very popular, but reality is there’s a crowd there due to how slow it is. It took about 20 minutes to get my ice cream. I got a bangin brownie and while the toppings and ice cream were a nice combination, there was too much of it in this small cup thus causing a mess while eating it. The ice cream itself is nothing spectacular and certainly not worth the wait. Unless you want to waste your time and money I highly recommend to avoid this place at all costs.

They were out of vanilla and strawberry leaving chocolate as the only option. It was good ice cream, but there was nothing special about it. The staff were rude and unfriendly, and then, when I paid the debit, it prompted me to give a FIFTEEN % tip. For terrible service. So I paid over $7 for the smallest size they offered. Had been so looking forward to this and it was a big let down. Save yourself the grief and go to Dairy Queen

Not Taste Well!!! At one time, was the place to go in SG for trying new ice cream store. The cost was very high, but I did expect I get my money worth. The ice cream has nothing different than superstore. We threw them out when we got home. I don't know what happen with the quality of their product, but we will not return.

Great place to stop for a sweet bite. The brownie flavoured cone was delicious; and the soft serve was very creamy and rich. A small is definitely enough to satisfy my dessert cravings - great value, and friendly staff to boot! Give it a swirl.

Most of the hype is just in the name. Nevermind the Christian revolt in the reviews, the ice cream is okay. What was really irritating is the greedy 15% tip they expect us to pay. With inexperienced and unskilled labor making the whole sweet Jesus experience pretty lame. Won't bother coming back.

Pricey for just a small portion of ice cream. And there's a 15% tip knowing that the minimum wage just went up. This store is asking for a tip and it is not even busy? This is not even a restaurant. I can see this store will close soon. Because of the price and the mandatory tip. Not even worth a star.
