Oxygen Yoga and Fitness Port Coquitlam

I've been going here for a few weeks now and I honestly look forward to it when I wake up, Especially the deep stretch and relaxation class. Jess F was my first instructor and she's my absolute favourite, her energy and classes are always 10/10. I've recommended her classes to friends and brought a few friends with me ( who also now love this place). The only advice I could ever give this place is to not let Jess F go, ever.

Love Oxygen Yoga, it's the best yoga in town by miles. Amazing instructors, super clean, hot but not too hot. Perfect. Love that I can get a deal as a member of Anytime Fitness too!

Oxygen Yoga has been the most positive experience for a beginner trying hot yoga. In my other experiences the heat was too much and the classes were 90 minutes (too long!!!) so I was reluctant to try again. My first impression of the studio was that it was clean and bright and it seemed like many of the clients knew each other and the instructor which means they are regulars... a good sign! I did Freedom Flow (there are many different options), and the lights were dimmed and the space was comfortable. There were many "levels" in the class but the instructor took the time to help us individually, and I didn't feel singled out or embarrassed when she helped me. You are welcome to leave or drink water if you need it and the class is one hour. I noticed that the heat in this class was different and it wasn't as hard to breathe.. after the class I talked to the instructor and it turns out it's infrared heat, different from other yoga studios. If you are thinking of trying hot yoga I highly recommend trying Oxygen!
