Overflow Whyte

This place is such a gem! I drove by it for years not even realizing it was a cafe spot and am glad that a friend introduced me to it. Their breakfast scones with a oozy-yolk egg baked inside are amazing and the perfect weekend breakfast. They have a killer orange zest latte that is super unique, and really friendly service every time we've gone. Also, they are super sweet to our dog whenever we bring her with us. :

Ordered a Vanilla London Fog and a blackberry scone. Service was lovely. Food/beverage was standard. Couldn't taste any vanilla in the London fog and the scone was tasty but small. There's also hardly any seating there just as a heads up! Just a standard cafe so I wouldn't make a point of going back.

Went in to the coffee shop to use it as a workspace with my colleague but the only outlet available in the coffee shop was blocked by their bench. So we proceeded in to the The High Wheel cafe which was empty, to see if there was a table where we could sit at with an outlet and order some coffee and food. The grey haired lady from Overflow started berating us that we can only order coffee in and sit in the coffee shop, or order brunch and eat food in the cafe. She was quite aggressive and made us uncomfortable saying we can only have brunch or coffee, not both at the same time, to which we just left. "COFFEE OR BRUNCH? What do you WANT". She seemed very high strung and stressed and kept cutting us off when we tried to speak. I highly suggest being kinder to customers, especially when the entire place is empty, it was a quiet Tuesday afternoon, not a weekend brunch rush. What a way to chase away customers!

Incredible, friendly and welcoming team - the owner is so cool and makes you feel like an old friend. The London fog is to die for, the caramel shortbread square is scrumptious.. the Dutch hot chocolate is sooo good with Strathcona Spirit’s velvet cream liquor. They have so many pre-made deli items and baked goods. Highly recommend! Also the location is perfect and the vibe suits Whyte ave / Old Strathcona

I was just out walking with my puppy Max, when I met a lady and we went for a cold drink here! Being new to Edmonton, I will definitely be back. The BEST! June 16th Thank you

A cosy, but also bright and cheerful cafe. Staff are incredibly friendly about knowledgeable coffee, and they make a mean cortado!

Clean, cute, cozy, delicious. Really nice staff, they were so kind and gave me a free pretzel after I accidentally ordered a food item that wasn't vegan. Overall 5/5, I will definitely be coming back!

I love their fireball cinnamon lattes and the egg scone my favorite is spinach and feta. My partner also loves their breakfast burritos with the refried beans. The staff are always lovely and easy going and the walk up window is nice if you want the distance. I've come here multiple times and I will keep going.

One of the nicest chai lattes I've ever had and the staff were lovely
