Our Sunset Place Bed & Breakfast

We stayed here for a long weekend- it was fantastic! Our room was tidy, private and comfortable, and the hosts (Bart and Sandy) had tons of recommendations for stuff to do and places to eat. Oh, and the breakfast Sandy cooks are amazing. Simply out of this world. The B&B itself it on a small point overlooking the lake, and is really private with a park to one side, and a cliff-side road to the other. There's an outdoor hot tub, an expansive deck, and lots of outdoor seating. We went in the off-season, (November) so we didn't spend a ton of time outside, but the deck especially looks like it would be lovely in warmer weather. We were looking for a quiet weekend away, and that's exactly what we got. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Sandy and Bart are wonderful hosts. Their house is beautifully decorated, clean, and snug (which was important in November!) The photo tour on their website captures the house very well if you'd like to see what the rooms and common spaces look like. Every morning Sandy served a different but equally wonderful breakfast! Don't pass up the muffins, they are excellent. Both Sandy and Bart have plenty of recommendations for places to go to keep busy, but the fireplace and hot tub mean it's equally nice to stay in. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful home! Bart and Sandy are awesome hosts. The pictures do not do this B&B justice. There were gorgeous flowers and plants everywhere. We were served a delicious breakfast both morning with a gorgeous view of the lake right off of the balcony. The "Vineyard Room" in which we stayed was very clean, had a HUGE comfy bed, and large shower with an awesome rain ☔ shower head 🚿. They have the largest hot tub I've ever been in that overlooks the lake, it made for a very romantic evening to watch the sunset. Although there are 4 rooms that were booked during our stay, we enjoyed our privacy. The house is conveniently located near several restaurants and places to explore, as well as gas stations and grocery stores to stock II p on supplies. I can't wait to go back for another weekend of relaxation.

If there were a sixth star, I would rate it 6 stars. We had a beautiful, wonderful experience at "Our Sunset Place". It could not be beat for comfort, class, cleanliness, service, and breakfasts! Sandy is a wonderful host and we will definitely come back. Thank you, Sandy!

Wow did we get lucky! It's so hard to judge from the internet and many places to choose from. Our Sunset Bed & Breakfast was amazing! I was trying to think of anything I would have changed or wished we would have had but could not figure out one thing. Sandy was so sweet and catering to us the entire time. The breakfast both mornings were to die for. I am such a picky eater and I thought for sure I would not enjoy these unique things that she cooked and they were amazingly great, so yummy...... very impressed at looks and taste. She started us out every morning with huge yummy muffins along with yogurt and fruit fresh fruit. We were also fortunate enough to be able to eat outside in October right on the lake, beautiful. All of our bedrooms were gorgeous and so up-to-date and spotless. The beds were amazing and pillows were so soft and fluffy too. Big t.v.'s in every bedroom and in main family room. We went with two other couples and all of us had gorgeous unique showers, one of the showers had the showerhead coming out of the center of the ceiling like a rain shower, it was so cool. We had the house to ourself and you can come and go whenever you want with good security. A couple of big bonuses were that sandy knew of all the entertainment around and recommended options that we had. And last but not least we each got a bottle of wine of our choice and a meat, cheese, fruit and cracker tray. This was the most peaceful vacation I have ever had and we will try to make it back two to three times a year. Highly highly recommend. Ohhhh, don't Forget to bring your bathing suit because the hot tub was like a swim one and huge. Romantic, relaxing, and fun vacation… It doesn't get any better. Thank you so much! We really enjoyed getting to know you.
