From the start and the purchasing of a lot we have had a great experience dealing with everyone involved in this project. Spending over a week at one of the cottages proved to us that this one day will be our permanent residence. Keep up the good work and looking forward to see our home being constructed live.

Wonderful environment right on Osoyoos Lake with a beautiful beach, clubhouse and amazing Cottages/homes.  People are friendly and there is always another community event or activity to take part in.

Many people  who have purchased in this development report the same issues with this developer. The developer is not good to deal with. Nor is the project coordinator. Here are some of the issues people have had:

1- Low end products (discontinued lots) in their homes. Upgrades will cost you a change fee and a 30% markup.

2- If you want to change something, you must use their suppliers. Your captive, so the suppliers have much higher prices than if you were to source the same item from these suppliers without the developer. 
This is in addition to the change fee and mark up.

3- The developer does not have the appropriate floor plans for each house. For example the mirror image/reverse of each house. There is a a big difference with respect to placement and hookups. You may not have an accurate idea of the layout until it's being built.

4- The agreement states the developer is able to make any changes to the design without your approval. 

5- The agreement states that possession can be up to 18 MONTHS AFTER the completion date.

6- Read the contract carefully, it might be wise to seek legal advice before signing. It may also be wise to hire an independent interior designer.

The property is nice. If you can survive the developer, it's a nice place to live.
