We came here for the performances which was awesome and did not disappoint. Just wish they arranged the middle seating close to the stage to be lower than the seats on the sides. It was hard to see the performance from the side tables. The server was one of the most friendliest’s servers we’ve had and was very attentive. Ambiance was great and beautiful decor. Share plates were INCREDIBLY SMALL and not enough to be shared at all. Even one person eating it will still be left hungry. Food was delicious though and beautifully plated. Cocktails were amazing.
Solid five stars. Not only does the place look absolutely amazing. The food is delicious. Well presented, what a great addition to Little Italy. Service was fast. And friendly. Experienced barman serving up delicious cocktails. Order both desserts. It’s worth it.
This is an interesting spot in the middle of Commercial drive. I came here for brunch and the food did not disappoint. Lots of the dishes were duck related. The food itself was quite tasty, the portions weren’t too big or too small, just the right amount to make you feel full. Price point is decent as well, will definitely come back and try some of the cocktails and their dinner menu. There’s a nice stage setup and musical quotes throughout the restaurant.
If you want to plan for a night with live music, don't count on it cuz it may be cancelled and they forget to inform you. But the food was great! Staffs are fast and supportive with smiley faces and great advice. The place's ambiance also was great!
The perfect place on the Drive on a hot summer afternoon. I ordered an iced mocha and a wild mushroom flatbread. Both were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, which is especially appreciated because not all restaurants are as nice to solo diners. The ambiance is warm and peaceful with upbeat music playing in the background. The decor is sleek yet casual, and the many live plants keep it fresh. Overall, a positive experience. I will be back and look forward to coming one night when there is live music!
Exactly what the Commercial Drive needed! Quality exquisite food and atmosphere with a smile! I had the Duck Confit Eggs Benny served on a croissant, just perfection on a plate, everything was what it was supposed to be! Definitely will be back to try your other flavours! Great dinning Great food Great service and not overly priced! Thank you!
Amazing atmosphere, live music and cozy seating. Amazing cocktails which are cheaper than similar places on commercial and tasty tapas style food. You should definitely give it a try
Finally made it in for the regular menu. La Vie Lavende is the best cocktail here. The seared halibut was delicious. The seared duck breast was cooked just right. The scalloped potatoes were delicious. Emmett Jerome was entertaining.
It's definitely a tapas drinking type of place if that's what you are looking for. Pros: -vibe is nice more just a place to casually sit -drinks look really pretty Cons/improvement: - drink per cost definitely doesn't balance as I can make a drink on my own for $3 compared to $14 - food small portioned definitely more for sharing
All the food was yummyyy. Mind you, they come out whenever they're ready and keep in mind it's meant to be share plates. The duck was cooked perfectly! Our favorite part was the live jazz band. They were such a fun presence and it's rare you hear that kind of music live anymore.
