Even if the doctor is good no one should wait 1 hr (on average with no emergency) to see an MD. The MD is a very good practitioner and when I called to discuss the issues I encountered the person was very nice and courteous. However, I do not like the feeling of being a part of their bottom line. They need to be more patient centered. I will be seeking a new ortho who makes their patients wait a reasonable amount of time.

Disgusting thieves hiding behind their PHD’s and MD’s.They charged us for “Surgery” on a routine office visit. The surgeon looked at Xrays, then gingerly felt felt my wife’s broken wrist and charged us for “Surgery” in which we were responsible for a $100 copay. SURGERY FOR A AN XRAY READING AND A LIGHT TOUCH! No scalpels, no anesthesia. Then they brazenly billled our insurance company $250 for some generic equipment that we found online for $25. We had to pay an additional $87 for that generic equipment. Customer service couldn’t care less as well as all of their top level management, who I personally contacted. I was told it’s their right to charge us such ridiculous fees and was promply dismissed. I have no idea how these “so called” care givers can sleep at night. At least self respecting criminals use ski masks and guns to rob the general public. I have pretty good medical coverage and I was able to pay, but I feel sympathetic to all of the patients who need care and may not have the best insurance, or no insurance who are subejected to Orthapedic Associate’s inflated, imagined and excessive fees. They are a disgrace to the medical community. Patient care takes a back seat to their overwhelming greed. I think they use toilet paper printed with the Hippocratic Oath.

This place has a terrible system, they say they coordinate between office but they don't, don't try to call them because you will be on hold for 30 minutes or more guaranteed doesn't matter time of day, if you do the contact us online or in the patient portal you are lucky to get a call back within 3 days if a call at all. Need authorization, they will call you and tell you its ready and then tell you they can't make the appointment because they are so inefficient whoever called you about the authorization hasn't told scheduling. The doctor I use there is a good doctor but hell if I have any luck getting to him. Just another large group taking advantage of good people who need healthcare, but rest assure when it comes to collecting your money they won't miss a cent.

Worst service I have ever experienced. Still waiting for a follow up call/to be seen by a doctor. (a week at the moment) The receptionist was nasty and unwilling to work with us. You will be on hold for a minimum of 30 min and when you actually get some one they hang up on you, or put you on hold until you hang up (over an hour). STAT M.R.I. means as soon as possible took 4 days of calling every day multiple times a day to get one. If you get injured it is better off driving across country getting a doctor in California getting the surgery and then driving back before going to this place. The ER is a better place to go then this poorly run business. Do your self a favor and go some where else.

Am currently on hold for 22 minutes and waiting. Went to Orthopedic Associates for an opinion on a hip replacement. Dr seemed very capable but it's impossible to get thru on the phone. Horrible wait times. Was never able to get to Dr for a follow up question. For many reasons we ended up at Hosp for Special Surgeries in NYC which was a good call. HSS is so much more professional in every aspect. Now 2.5 months later I am trying to get back >$100 in co-payment that we were over charged by Orthopedic Assoc. Now on 3rd call. Every time it's a 30 minute wait listening to a recording. Last time they said the check was in the mail. Now 10 days later. Totally unorganized place. Drs may be good, but plan on endless waiting.
