VW boundary has been phenomenal with helping me find the parts and accessories I need for my cars. They have always gone above and beyond to source parts if they don’t have them in stock or more often then not already have what I need on hand! Great service, kind people and reasonable prices!

The good: 1 Sandy is awesome! He has sold us two cars - a 2016 VW Golf with less than 30k kms in August 2021, and a 2018 VW Atlas SUV 7 passengers with a little more than 30k kms in June 2022. So I can say - without trying - we have become a Volkswagen household! 2 no dickering with the sticker price. It is what it is. So at least I know the next person isn't going to be able to negotiate a better price and have me feel scammed. 3 OpenRoad VW professes that they are thousand$ cheaper than any other competitor with their prices. A quick Google search will confirm that point! 4 Sandy is very knowledgeable and freakishly TALL and was able to go through a host of options - eg. lease new, buy new, buy used, buy used but various models. 5 Not feeling pressured or rushed. I've been to several dealerships where #4 and #5 were HUGELY lacking. For example: 5 mins after walking into an used car lot, "here's our price. what's your counter offer?" Uhhh - what about the brakes on the used car - what % is still left on it? Dealer reply: don't know. Our report said "passed". I asked what that meant. He had no clue!! What's your counter offer?? he parroted again. I walked. I'm sure he was badmouthing me to his colleagues afterwards. The bad: buying a car seems to take FOREVER. At least two hours even after I brought a bank draft paying the whole amount off. This is NOT Sandy's fault. But they had to try to sell me an upgraded insurance protection package which they did at a mutually acceptable price - sure, I wish it was cheaper. Every dealership is the same. Mitigating factor: at least they have free coffee, espresso, etc and I got to browse the accessories! Bottomline: I have trusted Sandy to get me into both vehicles, and I will again - hopefully they'll have some EV vehicles available in a few years.
Mr. Tan GM went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and comfortable with my new car. I had few concerns and he arranged a time to bring my car in and have it fully inspected. Thank you!! Mark Service advisor was incredible throughout the entire process. He was extremely helpful, very polite , friendly and professional. Thanks again! OpenRoad VW Burnaby definitely deserves 5 stars! Where do I even begin to describe my OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD experience buying my brand new 2022 VW Tiguan Highline R-Line from Openroad VW Burnaby. My salesperson was Sandy Morton. My family have purchased many vehicles over the years and so far, none of them even came close to the excellent level of customer care and support I received from Sandy from the 1st moment I walked into the dealership to me putting down the deposit for the SUV to keeping me informed on its status to finally the whole sales & delivery. No sales pressure like how I felt walking into other dealerships. Sandy really sat down and listened to what I wanted, etc ... then spec out the SUV exactly how I dreamt. He personally ensure everything went smoothly. Even the finance team Amy Yeh & Matt Petersen was awesome, really took the time to explain everything in detail, no pressure to buy anything extra I did not need. Briefly deal with service advisor, Ashley Pattie when I paid for the winter tyres and rims. She even helped me call Openroad head office to setup the points account. And finally today when I took delivery, even Katherine Pivnenko, delivery specialist was awesome. She took the time to help me load the stock tires & rims into my SUV b/c i brought winter tyres & rims then took the time to explain everything, set up my VW Carnet, etc ... I know she is new and I wish all the greatest success in her career and I hope Openroad VW don't lose her, she is going to go far in her career. To be honest, if I had a business, I would hire her in a heartbeat. If I could give 6-stars out of 5-stars, I would. My parents is already confirmed that future vehicles purchases, we will talk to Sandy first.
I’ve been so many dealerships in the Greater Vancouver area but this is the best one for sure. They offer the decent price of vehicles and provide the amazing customer service. I was just roaming around with my wife there on last weekend and didn’t intend to buy anything as we’ve already pre-ordered a Lexus NX 2022. After I met Anu who is one of sales people there and showed me a Tiguan R-line, I overturned my mind and decided purchased this car in the day. She is very professional and enthusiastic. Highly-recommend her. Definitely, I will recommend my friends if they’re looking for a car and will surely visit this dealership again if I plan to upgrade my car in the future.
My wife and I purchased a Volkswagen Atlas here just over a week ago. The last car we bought before this was from one of the new online sellers that deliver the car to your house, and since we had a great experience then, I really wanted to go the same route this time. It turned out, though, that this dealership was offering better cars and better deals than any that the online companies had to offer, so we decided to "risk" having an in-person experience again. I was actually wary because the car seemed almost too good to be true, just because it was that much better than what the online sellers had, which was the opposite of what I had seen a year ago with the last car we purchased. I even told my wife I was afraid this was going to be a bait-and-switch, but it ended up being the furthest thing from that. The whole time we were there, Eddie never once tried to upsell us or pressure us to look at more expensive cars or options. We asked in the initial email to see a specific car they had advertised, and when we arrived it was sitting out front ready for us to inspect and test drive it. I want to thank Eddie for, first of all, replying to my email at 10 PM!! - we ended up buying the car the very next day - and secondly for the overall great experience at the dealership and test-driving the car. Also, a big thanks to Matt for helping walk us through all the financing details - often a delicate topic, but Matt made it very comfortable. Also, although he just like all the staff was wearing a face-mask the whole time, my wife and I both agree he looks like Thor Chris Hemsworth. Naturally, the process did take longer than with the online seller last year, but if the cars/prices they can offer are that much better, I'm happy to go. For anyone hesitating to go to a dealership for all the commonly known reasons, I would say this place is an exception. Oh, and by the way, we're more than happy with the car too!
I was quoted almost 3 grand to fix an oil leak, and potentially another $6k if that’s not what was going to fix the issue. I am so glad I went elsewhere for a second opinion because I only had to pay $150 for a synthetic oil change and a new oil drain plug gasket. In the pic, the left is the one that was causing the issue clearly worn while the one on the right was the replacement. It’s really upsetting that I could have spent so much money here for such a simple fix. They made it sound like my car was a piece of junk.
Has a smooth and amazing experience, start to finish, purchasing my first car in this location. I had general inquiries and got a very quick response from Sam. I was able come in the next day and was taken care of by Sandy. He was very helpful and transparent when answering any questions I had, and made the entire process of getting a car much less complicated. This was such a turnaround from my experiences with other dealerships.
