Very friendly staff. I was able to book an appointment for the very next week. I took the car in for service today and was able to drive into the service bay area for my appointment. I was greeted by a very kind receptionist and was able to be helped right away at the service desk by Alan in a very professional manner.nnEverything was under warranty, which was a bonus. Very honest people. I will be taking the vehicle back here in the future. Thank you OpenRoad Subaru Boundary.
Avoid the Subaru Solterra at All Costs!nI've had the misfortune of owning a Subaru Solterra for almost 2 years, and it's been a nightmare. The car's battery issues started after just 1 year, with frequent failures to start, leaving me stranded.nnIn the past month alone, I've spent $300 on taxi jump-starts! Despite numerous incidents over 10 times, Subaru's customer support has been unresponsive and unhelpful.nnTo add insult to injury, when I asked to return the car, I was told I'd have to pay a staggering $15,000 in negative equity! This is unacceptable, especially considering the car's poor performance and reliability issues.nnDo not, I repeat, DO NOT purchase the Subaru Solterra or deal with this dealership. Their lack of accountability and customer care is appalling.nnI am writing this review while waiting for yet another taxi jump-start in Camby, and what's even more infuriating is that just yesterday, I was at the open road Subaru dealership for a battery check and service! Clearly, their services are ineffective, and their cars are unreliable.nnAvoid this car and dealership at all costs! I am going to open a complain file !!!
Good Service ResponsennWe have a 2022 Subaru Outback. We had severe battery problems on a road trip from Alberta to Vancouver Island and return in October, 2024. I was trying to resolve the problem and contacted Open Road Subaru for help early one morning. The service department listened to my problem, and said they could fit me in very early the next morning to fix things. It turned out I could make it home without an enroute service visit. However, and importantly, if I had desperately needed service this dealership was the one that would have helped me. I got great help on the phone from the service department. Based on my experience as a very-nearly-stranded Subaru owner, I recommend this dealership wholeheartedly.
I had a great experience buying a new car with Jenn. She took her time to explain all our option and made sure we left we the car we needed. I never felt pressured. The crosstrek is an amazing vehicle and we cant wait to try more of it on our camping trip coming up.
Bought a beautiful new Crosstrek and sales dept was great but then new car needed servicing right away and OpenRoad Subaru Boundary has pretty much ignored what's going wrong with an almost 3 month old car - leaking sunroof, electrical issues. Car has been into service 3 times about to be 4 and we just keep on being told to monitor our car like everything will start working 100% magically one day. There has been no help offered and were told if we were really unhappy to call Subaru Canada. Waiting back to hear from Subaru Canada.
