This is my local branch, and the staff here are usually fairly nice. Sometimes you can be waiting quite awhile and others you can zip right through. You never quite know when the crowds will start to shuffle in, or how energized and fast of a day the staff will be having. All in all however, the staff are helpful and kind, and are happy to help with any questions you have.

The majority of employees have no clue about anything beyond how to do the most simple and common transactions. Things they have no idea how to do include: conversion of IRA types, when transactions are taxable, and how to deal with a beneficiary IRA. There is one person they can schedule you to talk to who knows about more than depositing a check, but she is booked more often than not, and usually just recommends you buy government bonds.
