Not a typical sit down restaurant where a waiter comes to take care of you. Instead the no frills allows for a delicious meal prepared by a good cook. Order food and eat it before giving a review... For this place order his classic and a bowl of the soup. Delicious!!

The classic is a phenomenal breakfast sandwich. It’s really large, and saucy. Vern is a curmudgeon sandwich maker and business operator. This is a great place to get a sandwich to go, or to sit down for a quick meal.

Forget everything you know about ordering food because you won't need it here. Odd place. Only really serves one thing. Is an experience to be had though In my opinion, just be prepared, it's going to be interesting. Food is pretty good.

Not like other restaurants, according to the cook/owner. So true. Many of the tables were dirty (although the cook and a helper were clearly visible in the back and obviously not terribly busy), and we sat at our table for a long, long time before managing to catch the attention of someone to bring us a menu or offer us water, or even just acknowledge our presence (we were about to leave, actually, since no one seemed to care that we were there). The owner's manner is rather abrupt and impatient -- if he's tired of explaining how his restaurant works, why doesn't he put up a sign describing it? In any case, we were not finding the atmosphere pleasant and we left before ordering anything.

Really rude owner...told us we could only basically order a ham sandwich. Don't go here unless you want a ham special sandwich! HOWEVER... Watching the disorganized mess of a till to clarify weather people had paid, watching people buss and wipe their own tables, or hearing people being told "today isn't the a good day to order non-special sandwiches" was all quality entertainment. Cheap comedy... The special sandwich was great!
