Our senior resident services agent Mariama was responsive and incredibly helpful during my application process, sincerely answering my questions and making sure I was clear about the terms of my lease. She has a grounded, welcoming presence, and her radiant energy is contagious.

Hello, my experience with 132 Berkeley has been remarkable. I moved here immediately following my divorce. I immediately found a caring and diverse community. That sense of community is not something that just happened, it was nurtured by the incredible staff at 132.  My first building manager was Maria, and she was nothing but a  RAY OF SUNSHINE. She habitually stopped to say hello and introduced residents to other residents.  When I hear she was leaving I was sad, just because we had such a personal bond. But then came Mariama and all of my fears were put to rest.  She is caring compassionate and if you need proof of community, just take a look at how many residents have jumped at the opportunity to defend her character. THAT is the community the truly defines 132.  From Mariama, to the corporate office, to the cleaners and other technicians... each and every one of them has been friendly, polite and helpful.  As a business owner, I appreciate people who go above and beyond... and that is definitely the case there at 132!  Don't let a cyber bully deter you from checking out this location. It was the best possible place for me to heal and I will stand by the staff and residents because they were there for me at a time I was very much in need. No one thinks about renting an apartment as just a business transaction. You’re setting up your home and you want everything to fit your life and your needs.  But it always takes some work to make that happen, a bit of back-and-forth to make everything fit. And it can be frustrating to do all of that alone. Lucky for me, I wasn’t.  Mariama Toray, the Resident Services Agent at 132 Berkeley Street, was there for me. She made it possible to get done everything I needed to do. She went well out of her way to accommodate appointments at odd hours and special requests from the cable installer. She did so much more than she needed to. And she made me believe that she cares about the quality of the lives of her tenants.  This isn’t a big building by Toronto standards. But Mariama still has to manage 10 floors of apartments. And each of those apartments has tenants who have their own needs and special requests.  Despite the volume of people and their needs, she never makes you feel like you’re making her job harder. She always greets you with a warm smile.  It was really important to me that I feel at home in this place. And Mariama made that possible. She didn’t rent me an apartment, she gave me my home.

I moved here this month and this is my first rental experience. I didn't notice any drawbacks for myself. The building is in excellent condition, everything works properly, and is regularly cleaned. My unit is in good condition, with good equipment and a built-in air heating/cooling system that can be adjusted for yourself.  I really like the location. The historic district is a 5-minute walk away with a huge number of beautiful places and restaurants. The waterfront is a 15-20 minutes walk away. I have no need to use any transport, as everything I need is within walking distance. If necessary, I can use the streetcar which is 1 minute's walk away, on Queen Street or the one on King Street 4 min away.  The people living in the building whom I met were very friendly to me. In the evening and at night it is very quiet, I have never been disturbed by the sound from the neighbours.  The building also has excellent staff. I had a problem with the sound of working ventilation in my unit. The very next day after I put maintenance request, a technician came and fixed everything quickly.  Since this is my first rental experience, I am very grateful to Mariama, the senior manager of this building. At our first meeting, she showed me the building and the unit. She accompanied me all the way through the paperwork. I was lucky enough to move a few days earlier than the contract's date and was very pleased.

I’m a tenant of this building and can’t unoticed the exceptional work of Mariama,  the Senior Resident Services Agent, a lovely person with always a great smile that will do above and beyond to help you. Very glad to have her as a resident agent of the building.

I love this place! I moved in here a month ago and it’s such a nice place! The management is also super nice and helpful. The senior resident services Mariama is very nice and always there to help out. I would totally recommend you living here! The place is also super clean and close to many places like freshco and no frills.

I had an amazing experience, Ms. Mariama was really helpful, professional and considerative, explained me all the details while showing the building and made me feel welcome. Was clear about the contract and terms making my rental experience really good.

It's a decent building. The area is not good and there have been several car break ins. Also, homeless people dog through the trash bins outside and gross garbage all over the alley regularly.

Great place to be in and around downtown. The senior agent, Mariama Touray is an extremely helpful person who goes above and beyond!
