Got matcha and hazelnut, tasted good but both had telltale sandy texture from sugar crystals crystals don't melt and you feel them in your mouth for a while unlike ice crystals. Something went wrong when those batches were made but they served them up anyways and charged the usual high price. I'll come back sometime and see if its better.
Cannot say no to gelato! For a one scoop it a fair size. I tried the strawberry banana, spot on for flavour. Chunk of strawberry make it even better. Very creamy and no icy bit that can happen with some gelato places.
I loved the ice cream here!! Be sure to try the strawberry and lime one, it is amazing! Very large servings for the price! In fact, it was so big that mine fell to the ground, but the staff was so nice that I got another for free!! Delicious flavours, nice staff, and a compulsory stop if you have to wait in the terminal and wanna have a refreshing treat!
When I was with friends on the way to Vancouver Island we spent some time at the ferry terminal in Tsawassen waiting to the ferry to be ready for boarding. So I went to the small market there. And since I was craving for something sweet and fresh I bought some ice cream at “On The Go Gelato”. I ordered a “6 Scoop Tub” with the flavours Vanilla, Cherry, Tiramisu, Chocolate, Espresso and Caramel Volcano Cake. All Gelato types were creamy. Although the taste of most flavours could have been more intense. And, as expected at a terminal, the price was not so low. Anyways, I enjoyed my feast. 3.5 out of 5

Right before my ferry I had appetite for some dessert therefore I decided to get gelato from this place. I was astonished by the variety of flavors available. I ordered my favourite Spumone and I must admit, so far it has been the best I ever tasted. My kids loved their flavors. Great Customer Service. Quite cheerful and helpful Staff. They were great with my kids. Will definitely revisit on my next trip.
Actual gelato was delicious. Felt that the cost of $4.99 for a small 1 scoop bowl was steep but likely necessary b/c of the rent they must pay at this venue. Strongly upset and will not buy or recommend them because I asked for a 2nd bowl to split the gelato between my 6 yr old and 2 yr old children and they insisted that I pay 80-cents for the extra cup. That's almost 20% of my purchase price of the original serving. Ridiculous and made infuriated me. Bad business sense if you ask me.
My "Double Scoop" didn't even fill the small cup. And I do mean small. That and the flavors were exceedingly bland. Terribly disappointed. Don't make the same mistake, I sure won't.
Do not go here. My husband and I asked if we were allowed to try some samples before buying and the female staff member said yes. I picked 3 different flavors that I wanted to sample and also SHARED my samples with my husband so that the lady didn't need to give us two separate sample spoons. My husband wanted to try a 4th sample and the lady said, "This is the last sample I can give you." My husband apologized and said, "Sorry there's just such a large selection." The lady replied, "The more samples you try, the more confused you'll get." She basically called us stupid because she thinks we can't differentiate between 4 different flavors. She didn't offer us any spoons for our gelato cup either, but luckily my husband still had the sample spoons in his hand. We have never been to any establishment before that was soooooo CHEAP!!
Flavor ok not the best, not the worst, price for quality not good; service bad of course depends who serves you, I guess. My ice cream ball was tiny, someone's way bigger... Really variable, no professionalism....
