Omi Japanese Food

The best restaurant in calgary for lunch to me. The spicy beef noodle soup is the best menu. But it is not Japanese food, it is Asian food. I think it is Vietnamese food. I also remember very kind staff at the counter. She always give smile to the customers even if she is very busy in the lunch time.

This place is fantastic and the line shows it. Beef Pho is delicious, vermicelli is fab and their subs are also excellent, just to name a few favorites.

Pho and vermicelli both amazing especially the teriyaki chicken vermicelli. Under $10 so reasonable pricing. The pho is not the best I’ve had in town per say but it’s pretty darn good especially in a food court setting! Big portions.

Super cheap and fast with pretty decent flavours. Always a huge line during lunch. Not really Japanese food, but more westernized "Chinese" and Vietnamese food. Their Thursday salmon special is always a great deal.

They have the best comfort Pho food. Love their wonton and beef soups. There's always a long line so schedule accordingly.

Everything I have had from here has been really, really good. Sate pho is amazing, and even without the sate, the pho is full of flavour and stands on its own. Lots of meat and veggies. Lemongrass bun is great and I hear the wonton soup is amazing.

Affordable, tasty, good portion sizes and nice staff

Can't get enough Omi...and neither can a lot of other people. Usually very busy during lunch hour. Food is good and inexpensive. If you are downtown and want some good noodle soup then this is a spot worth checking out.

One of my favorites for the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup rare beef pho - and the rest of the menu pepper beef and the Vietnamese subs are good as well. There is always a line but they are able to move people through quickly.
