Miyako Sushi Express

I’m surprised at the low rating of this place! Miyako is an absolute gem, esp given the lack of sushi choices in the downtown core. Although their menu choices are limited, the fish is always fresh and flavors are good. My only complaint is that they’re far too generous with their sauces curry, mayo, sweet sauces so I always ask them to go easy. One time they even called asking me to verify as they thought I may have an allergy due to my request but they’re efficient and friendly.

This is a great little hole in the wall on the second floor of the busy Suncor building! The lovely gal that works there everyday is very friendly and works hard. The sushi is absolutely GREAT!! It tastes so fresh for being grab and go sushi and they have a great variety.Food: 5/5

The rolls are freshly made upon ordering and it is restaurant quality, fresh and delicious, price is very reasonable. Will definitely be backFood: 5/5

This was really really good! And they let you add your own sauce so I added lots of spicy mayo. I got a deal. The price may be a bit steep normally...for $10 i would expect some more food tbh. You should not be hungry if you pay $10 for lunch

Miyako Sushi always delivers quality. The sushi is made by true Japanese owners and the quality is always good. Their poke bowl beats Earls poke bowl by price and quality.

Got their curry bowl combo, included salad and soup for $9. Good price right? Until you get it and it's curry sauce on rice??? Please include on your sign that it's Only Sauce. I thought this would've included some meat for that price. Now I'm hangry and you're responsible.

I always come here for the Tokyo Curry with beef, great traditional flavour, worth the 10 minute power walk from my building via the +15. Not sure what other negative reviews are going on about, as ordering "curry" without adding protein would result in... no protein. It's like ordering Pasta Alfredo, you have to order Chicken Alfredo to include chicken. Haven't tried the sushi so can't comment on it.

Convenient, well-priced, consistent quality, and quick with their generous selection of grab-and-go sushi trays. I was surprised to see the negative reviews as I've always had a good experience here. Can't speak for the hot foods and poke bowl and I've only tried their sushi rolls.

I always get their seared salmon, masago sushi. It's so good and worth the price. If you're looking for sushi , I highly recommend them! Great service and great tasting sushi!!

Curry comes with 4 pieces of small chicken. Taste is okay.
