On the pricier side, but it was very fun. We did the sinister circus escape room, and finished it with tons of time to spare not to show off haha, but the theatrical component to these rooms were phenomenal. Definitely recommend If you want a fun night out with a group of friends or family!
This is the third time that my group of friends went to celebrate their birthday at Omescap Markham and unfortunately we continued to fail to escape. We were so close considering we did the Dark Altar which is 4/5 level and we are not so familiar with all the tricks in the escape world. The booking was simple, you just need to go to their website and choose the time and room you want and we paid $25 deposit to reserve the room. If you have birthday within 7days the birthday person gets 25% off and they offer $3 off for social media check in for everyone which they have clear instructions at the front desk. We will for sure comeback again for another birthday party. Also you will definitely want to book in advance because the popular rooms run out fast!
The establishment was clean and although the time we went was quite busy, the staff managed to get everything started and introduce us to the rules on time and very smoothly. We did the Project Sphere escape room with 4 people in total and got out with time to spare! It was pretty fun and challenging, definitely wouldn't have done it as fast without some of my smart friends lol.
I like this place because it’s really clean and quiet. The staffs are professional and friendly. The escape games are not updated frequently enough but there are enough games for you to play. You can also play board games here, they have a pretty big selections of games to choose from. You also get a free small drink if you paid for the games.
Highly recommend! Celebrated a birthday party here. Was pretty busy in the afternoon. Facility is clean. Drinks were good. A variety of games and escape rooms available. They also have offers for discounts birthday discount, social media discount. Above all, staff was impeccable, super accommodating and very patient. Looking forward to returning here, with other friends!
Had my first escape room experience with some friendos, and we did the Dark Altar? Something like that. Was almost iffy about the price, but they were thorough in explaining the process, dos and don’ts, and overall, it was well worth it. The green apple slushie was delightful, though the only downside was that friends and I wanted to play Mario party, and I guess someone messed it up for the rest of us, so it wasn’t working. Overall though, I’d give it a solid 9/10 experience. Looking forward to coming by again~
We have played few rooms before and they were all pretty good. But their newest room, Hong Kong after dark was such a superb experience! The set up of the rooms was delicate, well designed and full of cultural footprints. The puzzles were mostly fun and we really enjoyed solving them. Another unique thing about this room is that all players are also solving a murder case and the storyline was not bad as well. So overall it's quite a lot to be done in two hours. Luckily we were able to escape and had most of the stories solved, and the staff also took great effort walking through the details with us after the escape as well. Looking forward to the next room!
We've been to Omescape Markham a handful of times and it has always been a blast! The rooms are full of great puzzles, with pretty unique and impressive mechanics. The Scarborough location is also good with different rooms. My only complaint is that it's sometimes hard to find available slots to book, a testament to its popularity. Some of the rooms have been there for a long time though, I wonder if there are any plans to refresh them, or whether we'll just end up doing them all and not going back until they do.
Really like the space. Super fun escape room. I would say they just need to do a bit better on informing people if a room will have some physical activity. We had two members of our group that could not get into a crawl space. No crawl space was mentioned online or in person. Overall though it was a decent experience.
Had booked a large team event here with Hannah Durance from Omescape via email. With the large group, we were able to get a special discounted price. In Toronto, the pricing is very competitive to other Escape businesses. On the day of the event, everyone signed their waivers and got their belongings stored into locked lockers. The staff on site were very friendly and very professional. With the escape rooms, they were of amazing quality with multiple rooms. Glad that the staff supported multiple hints unlike some other places in GTA that provided fixed hints. Overall, the entire team from work enjoyed the challenging rooms and wouldn't mind visiting again for the future.
