One of the most beautiful places on earth. The weather is comfortable. Nature Bridge was perfect for an out door wedding. The location made for a fabulous destination wedding with hikes and canoe rides and guides nature walks. There is a lovely waterfall hike. The cabins at Nature Bridge were perfect for a large group. Travel to the park is a pain but worth it.

Anyone who loves the outdoors should visit this place because it has many hiking trails that take you into the forest or along River's and even out to the coast. If you like camping there's more than a couple of choices to pick from. I also enjoyed visiting Lake Crescent with it's cool and beautiful waters surrounded by the forest. The drive on 101 going past Lake Crescent is reason enough to make the drive out there. Happy travels.

This is undoubtedly God's country!! Absolutely spectacular! Truly unable to be expressed with words. You need to see it with your own eyes. Taken 3 major backpacking trips within the Olympics and I continue to turn every corner with mouth agape in wonder and awe. Will forever be in my heart.

My new favorite National Park. We visited in early October and hiked the Heather Park loop. There don't appear to be many visitors in October, which was perfect for us.
If you don't want to hike, the drive up Hurricane Ridge to the visitor's center is full of breathtaking views.
Also, there is so much more to the Park than just Hurricane Ridge: The various rainforests, the various beaches, waterfalls. There is a ton of stuff to explore.
