More of a 2.8 rating. Decided on this spot after seeing reviews and the rating, something that has not resulted in money well spent as often as it should have in the city of worcester unfortunately. I keep hitting dead ends and wasting both money and tips before even tasting food or seeing the quality when it's a take out order. Tried 2 pizzas, a dessert, an appetizer, and a sandwich and fries: Both pizzas were too burned to really enjoy, taste was so so and not memorable, dough was very chewy. This was an overpriced domino's sized pizza that did not satisfy even the slightest. I was disappointed because I read that it was good. 2.2/5 The meatball parm sandwich was good in taste but was sloppily presented, and used the same chewy dough. However, it was slightly less chewy with the sandwich. Meatballs were good, sauce was fine. 4.5/5 The fries that accompanied the sandwich was not good at all. It tasted like the oldest and most boring selection of potatoes were used. 0/5 The chicken wings were so so, nothing to write home about, mention, or remember. Hard to say exactly how much I did or did not like them. I would say they were okay, too much on the borderline of okay and did not like. They were also on the borderline of cooked and overcooked. But, would I order them again? No. 2.5/5 The zeppoli was also a let down. It was almost good in taste, too dry, almost tasted burned but definitely tasted over fried. The white dip was okay/decent, weird texture, the chocloate dip was good. I almost bout 2 orders of this, I am so glad I did not. 2.4/5 For the prices they charge for everything on their menu, I expected much better and to get some sort of food worth the money spent. Food here was overpriced, overcooked, less than stellar tasting, and disappointing.
So... the food is great here. But that's where it stops. They fully reserve the restaurant and don't leave any tables for walk ins, so be prepared. It took 30 minutes at 5pm to get two seats at the bar. We sat down at the same time as another couple- we likely just got garbage service. They had drinks before us and left before us despite ordering the same restaurant week meal. We waited over twenty minutes for our check, and when it came they charged us more for our drinks that it specified on the menu. Please just keep these in mind! If it hadn't taken 40 minutes from dessert to getting our check we would have contested it but after two hours for pizza we were ready to leave and not wait ANOTHER 20 minutes.
I've been here twice now. The first time I was a bit underwhelmed but this most recent visit was awesome. I had their restaurant week special. Caesar salad, margherita pizza and tiramisu. Everything was pretty great. Our server was very nice and the atmosphere was very relaxed and inviting. Would definitely recommend.
This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered French fries, meatballs, and a pepperoni/ sausage pizza. The French fries were nicely cooked but way over salted. The meatballs were baked first and then placed in the sauce for serving. I prefer my meatballs to be cooked or simmered in the sauce. The pizza was ok because of the sausage and pepperoni. The sauce didn't stand out and the crust was floppy with no crisp to it. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 6.8.
Great Pizza. The Greek Salad is to die for with the freshest most delicious fetta cheese I've ever eaten and the lemon mint dressing is perfect just like it was at the El MoroccoFood: 4/5
Great pizza if you like Napoli style. The food specials they have sometimes are awesome too. A bit on the expensive side but I think it's worth it.
Got mushroom pizza and Greek salad. Both were good. Pizza is very small for the price. Greek salad value was good. Invited beer selection which is annoying. Biggest complaint is atmosphere. Eats like eating in a factory. Gone a few times but will not be going again. Service was ok. It's mot bad but overpriced and lackluster atmosphere will keep me away
First time and will definitely return. Ordering online at the table made it easy. Pizza was great. The mushroom pizza and add arugula was delicious. Had fun playing indoor bocce too. Give it a try.
We saw Olo on Phantom Gourmet and thought it looked like a fun spot for a family meal…pizza and bocci, sign me up! We also love Romaine’s so we figured this place would also be great. Unfortunately we had a really disappointing experience. We made a reservation and when we arrived we were immediately bummed to see the bocci area was closed for a private party. I realize that’s no one’s fault, but disappointing nonetheless. We were seated and given one menu for four people. The woman who sat us said, “I’ll see if I can find more” and didn’t return. When someone eventually came to see us, I asked if there was a kids menu for my two toddlers. I was told there wasn’t. No kids menu at a family friendly pizza place?? I realize most kids like pizza but what about a pasta dish or a smaller kid size pizza?? I asked if they could make a kids meal of pasta and meatball since they had a meatball sub on the menu and chicken Parm which came with pasta. The girl I asked wasn’t sure so she said she’d ask. She returned and said, “we can do a side of rigatoni and one meatball for $14.” That seemed unreasonable honestly and I told her we may leave since I couldn’t get my son a side of pasta. We decided to stay and ordered drinks. I ordered their mojito drink special and was told they were out of mint. Okay, disappointing again. I ordered a margarita instead. I decided on the chicken Parm so my son could share my pasta. When the waitress returned she told me they just ran out of chicken Parm…at 5:40 on a Saturday….so at this point, we decided to leave. Unfortunately we wanted to love this place but they seemed unable to accommodate anything we asked for! Maybe their pizza is great but we didn’t stay long enough to taste it….
I was a little sad this year when my favorite local pizza place closed down but, I’m really excited to have found Olo as the perfect replacement. Definitely some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. We got the Ricotta & the Bacon. Both were amazing and I can’t wait to try more! Service was wonderful and staff were incredibly vigilant about masks, distancing and COVID appropriate service.
