Wayne's Pizza

One of the best pizza places in the city! Always hot, fresh and delicious. With delivery the food is piping hot like it was just made. They also wrap the hot grinders in an aluminum paper which helps it stay hot as well. Service is great and they always accommodate our special orders. Never had one bad experience.

The best steak and cheese I have ever had on the east coast are made here. They are so good that I’m 100% convinced they should rebrand the restaurant and just sell steak and cheese subs all day. My best friend and I use to order from here all the time.. He died a year and a half ago which is still so weird and hard to wrap my head around… But after we would finish one of their large steak and cheese subs this one time, we were trying to figure out the best way to describe how we felt after eating it.. We were all silence and my friend said “Meat sweats” We all died laughing in his living room because it was the perfect way to describe it. Such a filling sub.. and truly so good. Thanks for the memories Wayne’s Pizza. It’s deeper than just making food and taking money… You guys created beautiful memories that will stick with me forever.. and that was all because you care about the quality of your food. Don’t ever lose your grip on that.. you’re bringing friends together.. You’re bringing families together. keep it up.

Their Pizza is delicious. I mostly love the steak & cheese wraps/subs and the BLT wraps. We've tried almost everything on the menu and we have no complaints. We go either to "Wayne's" or "Fastway" the most. They are also diagonally across from each other. The only pizza places I ever gave a 5 to is Angelo's and Pizza Express both in Waltham. Unfortunately, Pizza Express has been long gone. The competition with more cheese, deep dish and odd toppings were the rage. Pizza Exprees who served original REAL Italian pizzas, always thin crust bottoms, crispy crust edges, and typical toppings went down in flames. If only I could find a pizza joint like the old days, I'd be in pizza heaven. I heard some places still do it that way in some cities and other States but the one's I have tried where I could were close but not exactly the same. I'll stick to "Wayne's" because they are also close to the original flavor and style I'm looking for.

I have been going here now for over 5 years, and still haven't tired from it. The owner is very friendly and such a hard worker. Whenever I go in the store is neat and clean. My favorite food there is a Veggie pizza, or Mediterranean wrap sandwich. Two thumbs up!!!

I have used Wayne’s pizza for years. Today is the last day I will be using them as the driver/owner took twice the amount of the tip. I called to complain to the owner and the woman on the phone had said that the driver was the owner. If that’s how you do business keep the few dollars. But, you just lost a good customer…

Food quality is questionable. Inside is incredibly dirty and grimy. I've done work to the building and their back rooms and the whole building is infested with mice/rats and squirrels in the walls and ceilings. Literally mouse droppings everywhere in the back and around the building. How the health board doesnt notice is unbelievable.

Worse decisions OF MY LIFE this place deserve a -5 stars maybe even -100 me and my family ordered from here yesterday and now we are all sick! WITH FOOD POISONING WORSE DECISIONS EVER NEVER WILL BE GOING HERE AGAIN!!!!

Ordered from here for the first time last night and was very impressed! I got an Italian sub with pickles, lettuce, oil and vinegar and the veggies were fresh and the taste was exactly what I was hoping for. This is a big deal because not all shops are equal when it comes to putting together certain subs. My husband got a fat chicken finger sub and curly fries. Both get thumbs up! We will definitely be ordering from here again in the future!

Haven't been back for years. Loved Paul when he was there. I was also around when they revamped the place. Need to revamp or clean up the wear and tear again. It's been about 20 yrs. BUT! Their Hawaiian pizza is STILL no joke. The best cheese the best sauce and toppings. Oh how I missed it. Have always picked up so can't review on delivery. Sure they weren't busy on a Tuesday night, however, the cook brought my pizza out to my car. Ok, I use a cane, but still he didn't have to do that. If you haven't tried Wayne's, go now.
