A hidden gem in a busy industrial area. We tried their brunch and the food and drinks were amazing. Service is impeccable, a true feeling of a small business with people that care about what they make. They also have little cute things for sale.
Gf and myself were walking along the river with our dog. Saw a sign googled it seemed good reviews called to make sure they were open as it was Sunday evening. Open till 10pm on Sunday unheard of!!!! Was pretty good and decent prices for a smaller restaurant. Good vibe in the restaurant cool stuff to look at as you walk in. Good music playing and not too loud ether. Had a pork and a fish burrito. Outdoor seats were up cycled pallets! Nice to find little gems like this will be going back again.
Delicious, authentic Mexican food with a quirky decor. Situated in an industrial area, this restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem. They have a wide variety of Mexican food that is not the typical “gringo” Tex-Mex like birria and molletes. Highly recommend if you want a taste of Mexico and authenticity is important to you.
Always want to try something new around my living place, the small cafe is just the one. This morning, I ordered a Carnitas Egg Benedict, the egg is poached perfectly but the hollandaise sauce is tasteless, the salad & potato is well balancing. The coffee is fresh brew therefore it’s taste very good. Although this place is located in the industrial area, but the operation time is long enough for breakfast, lunch and dinner, I surely will come back.
Been over six months since our first visit here but must have forgotten to post a review. Although this place is a bit hidden located in an industrial complex, it can get busy during the prime rush from what I recall. Had a bit of trouble finding close parking. Most options appear to be Mexican/cafe food such as the pork carnitas bowl that I got to go. It actually turned out pretty good but it would probably be more enjoyable to have dine-in.
We have been meaning to try out this restaurant and finally made it over there, I wish we had done it sooner! As soon as we walked in we were taken back by how cozy it looked and all the things they had on display from what looked like local businesses and artists. The food and drinks we got were amazingly good. The food was well balanced and had good sized portions. The prices were also extremely reasonable. In the end, how can you go wrong with all day breakfast and tacos?
This place is a hidden gem! Authentic Mexican food with even Mexican style brunch that is tucked away in an industrial area with businesses. Definitely worth the visit. Ample seating inside as well as outside. You lineup and order from the counter and the food is brought to you. I wanted to try the Mexican brunch the birria benedict to be exact but I just couldn't say no to the quesabirria. It's so hard finding quesabirria in Vancouver, especially one that is as good as in Mexico. The one at Olivo was delicious! The portion is not as big as Mexico but the taste is definitely authentic. I also did not find it too oily, it was just right. My friends had the Olivo eggs and avocado toast, and the taco birria. We all loved everything. Inside is also a cute section with local products that you can purchase such as funny mugs and candles. We each got a mug for work and my coworker also bought two candles. I would definitely come back again!
Fantastic brunch cafe in a busy industrial area. This place is cute and is quick to become a neighborhood gem because they serve delicious brunch with a Mexican twist!, along with great coffee & tea. To top it off, their service is amazing. You can really tell they care about their food and their customers! I recommend the chimichanga and the tacos and the croffles!!! Portions are quite generous esp the tacos and the prices are fair. You must also try the blue lavender latte! Honestly, everything is good. We’ll surely be back!
This place has the best tacos in town. Avocado toast is so fresh and must try their Spanish latte. Service is amazing too! Will be back for sure.
Cute spot hidden in the industrial area. Portions are on the small side but very yummy. We ordered birria tacos, fruit loop croffle, and a quesedilla along with a coffee and an interesting yummy beetroot latte. I ordered a birria tacos to go but unfortunately they forgot to include the dip : Sad.Recommended dishes
