This place is fun and bizarre in the good way. Music is good. Bartenders are fun. You feel kinda like at home. Characters showing up around friendly and fun. Sometimes live music, sometimes not. Always fun and you can write on the wall with chalks?? Nice
Great crowd, friendly bartenders, and awesome live music... Plus pool tables too makes it a fun laid back place.
The owner called me to dj I gave her a price she pretty much told me off she didn't like my price she thought I would of did it cheaper. She also tried to tell me how everyone is hurting if u weren't so cheap wouldn't have this problem I rather dj in pearl River ny bars they pay u and don't low ball and then make money and don't screw the entertainment plus there clean bars to.
Karaoke in full effect. Comfortable, cozy, relaxing, establishment. It's more than a bar with pool tables, a stage, a dance floor, clean bathrooms,outdoor seating and Wonderfully, reasonable prices. Conveniently located in the heart of Nyack, is your, evening, Stacation. Neat, Comfortable Attire and ID is all you need to engage with the friendly and attentive staff that claps on Karaoke Night. Olives's caters to a diverse crowd aged 21 to 101.
Great food and Very friendly attentive staff. We had the burger, which was 10 oz., huge!! Wings, and buffalo chicken sandwich. They also served us complimentary cajun potato chips, which were fantastic. Beer menu was not updated with latest options on tap, so one less star.
I love Olive's! Parking is super convenient, there's a lot right across the street. The bartenders are so extra nice & make great drinks. They've always got great music playing, usually some sub genre of rock. They have live entertainment, colorful regulars & a couple of pool tables. My go to bar in Nyack.
Good drinks. The crowd was a mature, diverse crowd. There was a band playing bluegrass music. I enjoyed the ambiance.
On my brother's birthday we walked by and heard some live music So we went in and we're very pleased. I don't know that the drinks were anything to write home about, But everyone seemed to enjoy them. I was driving so I didn't drink anything although I did snack on some of the chips at the table and I most certainly enjoyed the live music. A guy named Nev was singing and he did a great combination of covers and originals. His voice was more smooth and rich than any bar singer I have heard in recent years and the guy playing guitar with him did an original as well which was incredible. I'm sure this place is nice on other nights but for our purposes the music made the experience.
The name may have changed a few times over the years but it's still been my go-to bar for decades.
I come here for the live music, pool and shots. It's a good bar to chill with friends and just relax. It has a very chill vibe.
