My husband and I went here this past weekend for his birthday and it was truly so much fun! We made a reservation and the second we walked in, felt welcome. The crowd was a great mix of all ages, and EVERYONE was having a great time and dancing, which is exactly what we were hoping for. The music was on point and a great mix. The bartender was our waitress and made our drinks, she was so nice, friendly and made ordering smooth and easy! The food was delicious and easily some of the best Latin food we’ve had in Rockland. We devoured it, danced, drank and honestly didn’t want the night to end. We cannot wait to go back and bring family/friends. I have already recommended this place to a few people!
Celebrated my sister’s 30th birthday there and everything was amazing. First time going to this restaurant and definitely looking forward to coming back. The food was great and flavorful, the list of drinks went very well with the menu. On top of that the service was kind, friendly, warm, and inviting. I would recommend trying this restaurant especially if your looking for some good Spanish cuisine!!
My co-workers and I I had planned on going to another restaurant in Nyack last night and I actually made reservations. But at the last minute we decided to try this place out and I'm glad we did. The food and drinks were great, we enjoyed the ambiance of the place and the staff were really nice. I could definitely see myself going back again to try out different dishes.
By far the best Latin restaurant I have eaten within Rockland county. The food is delicious best Cuban sandwich and big enough for two. Hospitality is great, the restaurant manager was a delight funny and great to speak with. I'm definitely going back for that brunch on the weekend. Thank you Zana, i hope I spelled it correctly. My girls loved you. Thank you we will be back.
This decor in this venue is very nice, feels warm and cozy. We tried a few appetizers, the yuca rellena was extremely delicious, the chicharrón de pollo we're not crispy but had a good flavor, the montaditos need improvement in decor and taste. Our entree were pork chop and chuleta can can, which are supposed to be different but we're exactly the same. They both looked burned but were tasty and juicy. The cancan was deceiving because it was not a chuleta cancan but the owner justified it by saying that she spells it differently, this was not acceptable and I will not be able to recommend this place because of this reason.
We went last night for my moms birthday, OMG DELISH! The food and drinks were awesome. I got the skirt steak it was out of this world. All the small plates were also delicious. So good I forgot to take pics! Our waitress Jacqueline was amazing. So welcoming and her service was great! Worth every penny and calorie, a must try..We’ll be back very soon!
Had the pleasure of meeting the owners of Punta canta Latin fusion. I ordered the shrimp mofongo and white wine and it was out of this world. The staff was wonderful and the ambience made me feel like I was family. Way to go!!!!
Punta Cana is a great addition to Nyack’s growing dining options. Excellent food and service are sure to bring us back. Shown here are the ropa vieja and bacalao, both delicious and created with care and attention to detail. Also sampled chicharrones, tostones and empanadas—all top notch. And the flan was absolutely perfect! Welcome to Nyack!
The restaurant had a nice ambiance with live music and nice decor, the drinks and the food are over priced. We order ropa vieja mofongo and shrimp mofongo, the mofongo was more a mangu than mofongo texture wise. The flavor was very good but I was disappointed with the fact that the mofongo was really Mangu texture the service was ok the restaurant was partially empty on a Saturday night and we still waited 30 minutes for our food. I would go back to dance and have a beer or something else I don’t think the food was good enough
The food and serve every time we come here. The food is always phenomenal. You get so much you can’t finish the plate. My family and I will never stop coming. Always order the mofongo.
