One of my favorite places in the city. Love the tight streets. Always beautifully decorated for the seasons. Activities and shows year round. Love the new additions of the Ferris wheel. Aesthetically pleasing. Lots of activities. A bit pricey some of them. Good bars and restaurants around.

Beautiful area, especially in the winter (though that may be just my bias as I prefer winter over summer). The frozen ponds provide a skating arena, and the neon lights of the Ferris wheel and other nearby buildings cast against the night sky and white snow on the ground make for a beautiful night atmosphere. Finding parking nearby can be tricky, especially if there's an event at the Old Port, so I'd recommend street parking near the "boundaries" of Old Montreal and walking over if you plan to be there for only a couple hours.

Great to go in the summer for a jog. Gets crowded in the summer so not much space to jog on occasion. Very scenic and some cun activities. Kids would love it there. Restaurants are overpriced with poor service, but overall it's a fun touristy place. I did the zip line there. Was amazing.

One of my absolute favorite places to go when I visit Montreal! Just walking around the area you can find some gorgeous architecture and some great shops! At the water itself you also have the option of paying for a Ferris wheel ride where you get a great view of the skyline!

Most beautiful, with lots to do and see. A visit to the Basilica, and a walk through the old city is must. A walk on the cobbled stones behind the basilica would lead you to the old port and its many shops and artisans. A one hour boat ride, will provide some educational experience regarding the history and the surrounding buildings.
