this page is for all the biodome fans! the biodom is a really fun place to go to see animals and have fun with friends!
The Montreal Biodome is a facility located in Montreal that allows visitors to walk through replicas of four ecosystems found in the Americas. The building was originally constructed for the 1976 Olympic Games as a velodrome. It hosted both track cycling and judo events. Renovations on the building began in 1989 and in 1992 the indoor nature exhibit was opened.

Lots of insects. Very interesting displays. Small but informative. I think a maximum spend of 1 to 2 hours are sufficient

Super fun place to learn about insects! Fun for adults and kids. Lots of really beautiful butterflies, live insects and interesting information!

Great place if you like bugs. A bit small actually. Part of the package for the Botanical gardens. Try the bug tasting if you dare.  Just don't look at your food if you can help it.

Admission was free with admission to the garden. Building was small. Lots of samples of dead insects. We were looking forward to seeing more live insects. There were only a few live exhibits.

It took us approximately 20minutes to go through the entire exhibit. Most of the insects are dead and there's really not much to see. 

The only thing I can suggest is that if you are going to the botanical gardens, then the Insectarium is worth a look. But not the opposite. 

I went with my wife and two children (4 & 2)
