Old Mill Family Restaurant

Got the Classic Breakfast, Mushroom & Cheese Omelette and Wild Blueberry Pancakes. Food portions were big and we were very full afterwards. Drip coffee was good.nnWe got the pancakes to go. They were huge, fluffy and beautiful but sadly all I could taste was the metallic taste of baking powder/baking soda and my tongue and throat felt chalky. I don’t recommend the pancakes.nnService was friendly but slow. But the two waitresses were working hard.

Two yeses! You’re going to Hollywood!!nWe had ham and cheese omelet. The taste and the freshness were great!nWe also had the smoked salmon eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the hollandaise sauce was rich and flavorful!nThe Nutella banana pancakes were the fluffiest we ever had!nThe hot chocolate easily beat the one from Starbucks!nOur waitress was attentive and friendly.nIf you’re near Gravenhurst, in need of a comforting breakfast, you must stop here.

Old Mill is our go to in Gravenhurst for the past 3 years. We have had breakfast, lunch and dinner and one thing is consistent in all our visits - the food is great! I dream about their delicious banquet burger and our kids who are experts in fish n chips certify Old Mill as top notch. We have had dinner there several times and the meat loaf is homey and delicious. Freshly made mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables cooked bite tender. The food is minimally processed and fresh. The restaurant is always impeccably clean and the owner is always cheery and attentive What a gem!

Wow the food here was so fresh and good. I had the halibut flaky, sweet, awesome batter and my friend had the BLT - the bacon looked so good! Our server was an absolute love - made you feel like family and kept the tea and coffee topped up. Happy Chinese New Year and thank you for the lucky chocolates they were delish!

Come hungry! A classic family owned little town gem with all the comfort foods you could want. Very cosy inside with the wooden tables like your parents back home. Great for large families/big groups. Service was amazing and so friendly. Also bathrooms are very clean! So happy we came in!
