Because of them, foreign companies, anglo startups and newly immigrated entrepreneurs do not have access to CNESST documents in english. "Thanks for promoting healthy work habits and helping prevent work accidents ONLY in french!"

Look at all these anglophone raters with no knowledge of Quebec history and the importance of this office. Move out of the province if you don't like it. I'm anglophone, and ethnically anglo-saxon ON TOP of that, and I have at least the bit of common sense of why this office exists.

They are doing their job to protect the heritage of this beautiful province. It is important to preserve the uniqueness, in my opinion.

As a language school, they are hopeless and useless. This is a branch of government designed to harass non french businesses. Government passed a law that advertising must be in french. They got courts to proclaim it should also apply to websites. So I made my website in french. Still got fined $3,750 ! Why? Because I used google translate to do it and they claimed that was not "diligently" following the law. Beyond all reasonable doubt no less. So it not only must be in french, it must be conceived in french. Simply translating an English website was not good enough. With their "french" logic, if one was to start a website in English, translate every word to french, then delete the English version, the remaining french only website would still be against the law.

-5 stars. A cause of economic strife and one of the major reasons the province of Quebec is the highest taxed in all of North America and lack of foreign investment into the province. OQLF is the major cause of many small businesses shutting down. It also has created an environment of hatred towards anything Anglophone, as the saying goes, "you can speak any language you like in Quebec, as long as it isn't English!"
