Odyssée Salon Spa

I am Italian and very picky about my hair. When I moved to Canada I had so many problems finding a good heaidresser! I tried so many and most of them literally destroyed my hair to the point that I almost gave up and I just waited for my next trip to Europe for getting my hair done. Then I was very lucky to find the Odyssee Salon and I never changed since then. Everyone is very nice there and Catherine in particular is wonderful! She is an amazing colourist but she is extremely good in everything that she does! She is the best hairdresser I have ever had in my life!!! My hair has never been so healthy and beautiful! Thank you Catherine!!!

great Salon! Dave was my hairstylist and he was super attentive. He gave an incredible head massage, used really great products, and I couldn't be more pleased with my haircut. it looked exactly like the picture I showed him on pinterest. will be going back for sure!

Came from Alberta with no hair dryer!! The salon for me in ASAP. Had a beautiful styling done. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you for the help!

I will never go back here again. Now I've had two HORRIBLE experiences in a row and I've learned my lesson. 1) I had a brazilian wax with one woman, I wish I knew her name, and during the whole thing I thought to myself that she was a newbie so I was being very forgiving. Throughout, I was noticing that she was getting wax everywhere including both of my feet which by the end were both stuck to the paper, she was using the tips of her fingers to apply the wax strips and NOT rubbing according to the direction of the hair growth. So obviously when she was pulling them off it hurt like crazy and she wasn't getting any hair! She was also using tiny 1 inch square pieces so the whole ordeal took around 45 mins when I really don't have much hair to begin with. At the end of it all she told me to shave the rest of the spots where I couldn't get to. She was a petite woman, brunette, medium length wavy hair, very skinny, and Francophone. Avoid. 2) I went to get my hair colored today, spoke with the receptionist and explained to and showed her exactly what I wanted: balayage. She told me they do that all the time and are very familiar. She gave me an estimate of 100-150$. I had a girl named Jess and she was being very sweet the whole time, offering suggestions to make the hair color "suit me more". During the whole three hour process she was saying things like, "oh i'm just going to do this instead bc it'll look better, and even though we're using a bit more bleach it'll be ok bc i'll finish it all off with a bit of a treatment" and then after the whole coloring was done, she told me she was just going to take off half an inch to just get the dead ends. When I finally get to the counter to pay my total had somehow amounted to 275$!! I was SHOCKED and mortified bc my hair looked NOTHING like the photos I showed her and I couldn't comprehend why she had "suggested" so much and just done so much without telling me the cost was going to be increased. I hadn't realised but she charged me 110$ for the extra bleach/dye, and 20$ for the treatment and 55 for the haircut. Now I have insanely streaky gold blonde hair that looks dull and grey in various lighting, when I asked for hair that looks sunkissed and beachy. I just look trashy now. Never ever ever going back there again.
