Oconto Dockside

Was told a table would be available in 20 min. An hour later still waiting. Got to dining room, saw several tables of people that came in after us. Sat another 15 min, no server. Finally asked a young man if he was a waiter and would he take our order. Meal went smoothly after that. Food was good. Waiter attentive and pleasant. Waitress in bar helpful and friendly. When we left, no one acknowledged us, said have a good evening, nothing. Felt like we were interlopers. Had planned on returning Sat for ribs, but based on this experience, dI'd not feel very welcome.

Best BB pork ribs I've had in ages. Nice salad bar. Good service. Everyone is friendly. Reasonable prices.

Great menu of hot, tasty, beautifully served food by friendly, efficient WaitStaff in an attractive atmosphere of handsomely framed, regional & nautical history (by DickDoeren); fishing nets, mariner-theme, & seasonal decor with separate seating areas for pub & dining tables. The scenery from large bay windows is active with birds, sports fishing boats, & views of the yachts 'n docks ..in season.. along the Oconto River flowing to the Breakwater 'n Bay of Green Bay, connecting Lake Michigan and the Great Lakes. mbnJ

Stakes were good but pricy; be sure to get one of the reasonably priced add ons to make it more of a value. Server was very good.

I enjoy eating here now and then. A little different then your average dinner club. Next to the water gives it a different feel. The food is very good, usually very busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Good food, good service, great drinks ect...
