Worst restaurant I have every been to. They put spoiled squid in 2 different dishes. They STINKED to high heaven. How the person preparing this did not notice is beyond me. I called and they did not offer to reverse the charges or anything. This place is so bad it needs to fail. How can folks do such a bad job? Very sad.
Love the dinner for one. Not the most fancy or best place but it's solid enough Chinese foodFood: 4/5
I decided to try Ming Court tonight for the first time and it was disgusting. The Chicken Chow Mein was soooo dry and not a vegetable to be seen, the beef and broccoli had way too much corn starch. Overall, very disappointed. Never eating there again.
Our go to place when in Ladner.. even though there's no dine in yet due to staffing issue as everywhere else, we still enjoy via take out the house special fried rice, honey garlic chicken and cod and tofu hot pot
Seems like because they're the only Chinese restaurant on ladner they put zero effort into making good food because they know people will still order it. Step it up Ming Court.
Ordered from Ming Court for our family Valentines dinner. The wait time was long but so worth it. I think this just might be the best Chinese food I have eaten. It was fresh, not greasy and delicious. I look forward to ordering from here again.
Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Ladner. My wife enjoys the cashew chicken and my daughter always asks for some kind of noodle dish. Beef and broccoli this last time. Be prepared to wait if you order on a busy day like Mother's day since it is a popular place. It took 90 minutes yesterday, but the wait was worth it.
Honey garlic chicken was quite sweet but it was good,.
It's rare that I give a business a ONE star rating, but this place has earned it. Their food is average and the service needs an attitude adjustment. My wife placed an order to be delivered to her cousin's family in Ladner as her cousin a caregiver for seniors was just diagnosed positive for COVID and is isolated in her bedroom, so unable to cook for her family. She requested Chinese food and unfortunately, Ming Court is the only local offering. The woman on the phone was extremely rude to my wife; when asked about a tip, my wife at first didn't catch what she was asking due to her heavy Chinese accent, then snapped that it was for the driver. My wife offered $5 and the woman then hung up. No good bye or thank you. Due to being Christmas Eve, the delivery would take 1-2 hours. It arrived over 3 hours later, and the family had to eat something else while they were waiting. My wife's cousin told us that they are often rude. While I understand that it was likely one of the busiest nights of the year for takeout, there is no excuse for rudeness, and this place has been around long enough that they should be used to working under pressure in the restaurant industry. We've eaten here before and their food does not stand out. I'd recommend ordering from Richmond or Tsawwassen. Ming Court, here is your lump of coal for bad business practices. Work on your attitude and service and maybe your ratings will improve in 2021. Although judging from your lack of response to the number of bad reviews you have, it appears you don't seem to care.
I’ve ordered from Ming Court a couple of times. Being the only Chinese restaurant in Ladner humorously/wrongly enough, the Ladner yellow pages lists a Vietnamese restaurant under the Chinese food section, it often has to make do if you feel like westernized Chinese food. The food itself is reminiscent of what you’d find in a food court. Recently, I had a couple of friends over for some backyard takeout and placed an order early in the day for an evening delivery. We were told it would arrive between 5:15 and 5:30. After a couple of phone calls where the restaurant owner blamed the driver for often arriving late, the food arrived at 6:25. The delivery driver claimed the restaurant doesn’t tell him when the food is supposed to be delivered by, he just plans his route, packs up the food and delivers in the most convenient order. Regardless, we will settle for subpar Chinese food no more. In fact, we might be better going to Tsawwassen Mills and loading up on a four item combo and it would be just as good, cheaper and hotter than the food from Ming Court.
