Prices are okay for the service. It can be pretty slow, especially if you go in for highlights. My hair is pretty thin and about shoulder-length and it still takes like 3 hours start to finish, and that isn't even for a full head of hair. They take credit card so you know they are a legitimate tax paying business. Shopping around for another, but if you've got uncomplicated or short hair I highly recommend this place; staff are wonderful.

I had forgotten about this place for years (was my go to salon before I moved) until I got a certificate from a fundraiser to get a free haircut. Got an appintment. Showed up on time. Greet and ambiance was pleasant. Nice staff and the stylist was very polite and did his best to fit my request. I didn't want to get my hair washed with product since I had done so the same morning. He agreed and while I was in the chair to wet my hair, he forgot and did so anyways. I was told on the phone the styling wasn't included. If I wanted it styled it'd be extra. Eh. That's fine. I didn't need it. But when the stylist told me that also included DRYING my hair I was a bit annoyed. Apparently even just blow drying your hair is considered styling. Even 10$ haircut salons won't let you walk out with your head wet. Gave the guy a 15$ tip for my free cut and walked out of there with my wet hair. I believe I was generous to a fault. Upon my hair naturally drying at home, noticed I still have split ends and it wasn't worked on much. My 'layed' hair done only on the side of my face. Probably won't forget about them this time.

I've been going to Oblic for several years and the experience is always pleasant and efficient. I was disappointed to lose my hairdresser who changed for another salon Oblic 2 years ago. I am now with by Zoe and I love every minute I spend on her chair.

My girlfriend went to get a cut and an ombre style dye job where the colour gets stronger as you go down the hair. She wanted light purple so the bottom of her hair should have been uniform light purple and then it should have changed gradually to her natural colour as you go up. She showed the stylist 2 pictures of what she wanted. She was talked into blond instead of purple...which is fine, but what she got was streaks/highlights which get stronger as you go down the hair (not uniform at all). Definitely not what she had asked for. With tip she spent over $200 and when she went back to complain, they wanted to charge her more to fix it. In our opinion, this is poor customer service and we'll never go back.
